Louis was extremely nervous. He didn't know why at least didn't acknowledge the reason being Harry. "You have been on dates before," he mumbled himself "Besides, this isn't even a date! He's just gonna explain why he left me... nothing else. Ugh!" Louis let out an annoyed sigh when his hair just couldn't stay in place.

If Louis was nervous, Harry was a total wreck. This was his only chance to win Louis back. He was sure of it. If he failed this, Louis probably wouldn't talk to him anymore. Or text, as he'd been doing. He needed to get Louis to understand! To understand how messed up his mind had been, and how his mental health had been completely declining. He had been stressed out already and then the management had somehow gotten to know about his and Louis' relationship and decided that had to go. They'd threatened to cut off their deal, and Harry had felt like he didn't have any choice. 

Now he knew better; in the contract, there had been no clause about who Harry was dating or management's control over it. After a talk with his lawyer, he'd realized that the threat had been illegal, and now his lawyer was preparing a lawsuit against his management team. 

Harry looked into the mirror not for the first, but for the last time within the past fifteen minutes and decided he looked as good as he could -- maybe good enough for Louis to listen for five minutes, but that would remain to be seen. 

He grabbed his keys from the counter and walked out of the door after shouting "I'll be seeing you later, darling!" to his cat, and sat in his car. After a deep breath, he started it. No turning back now, he reminded himself and drove out of his driveway.

When Louis arrived at the small hole-in-the-wall cat cafe they'd decided to meet at, he was a little relieved when he didn't see the familiar curls waiting for him -- he was fifteen minutes early, after all, so it'd been kinda awkward. Plus, now he had time to familiarize himself with the place, as well as pick the table they'd be sitting at. 

A waiter walked up to him and after a brief conversation,  led him to a table furthest away from others. After explaining he was waiting for someone, the waiter left him to study the menu, though only after mentioning where to find the restroom and telling him that if he wanted to purchase treats for the cats, he would be welcome to do so from the counter. After giving them his thanks, Louis turned to the menu to kill some time. 

His thoughts about the delicious-sounding salmon sandwich were broken by a chime from his phone that indicated that Harry had sent him a message.

Harry: Just got to the cafe! You here yet?

Louis raised his head and looked to the cafe entrance. True to his word, a familiar curly head was talking to the same waiter he'd been approximately 15 minutes earlier. 

"Haz! Over here!" Louis waved from his seat, too lazy to get his ass up. And unable, he noted, only now noticing a cat resting its head on his thigh. 

As Harry's green eyes met Louis' blue ones, the most blinding smile appeared on Harry's face, only growing when he walked towards the shorter man.

So... Last time I was gone for eight months, now it's been a year and a half... In that time I've unpublished this work and totally forgot about its existence! But on the positive side, my English has improved SO MUCH!  Also: 4.6K  reads?? tf guys, you're insane

Where have I been? Well... In AO3, mostly. I'm there as @cazu as well, if you wanna look up my other stories -- fair warning, they are mostly bnha and hp fics. I've also deleted Wattpad from my phone, so I probably won't answer comments right away -- but I'll at least try to update this more often!

Today I've republished all the chapters of this story, so sorry if you got spammed with the notifications. I've edited them, kinda, but not a lot to highlight my growth as a writer.
