Chapter 1- The Tears

...Why can't I ever get a happy ending with someone I love?

Zenitsu filled his head with thoughts as he closed his eyes, his cheeks with drips of water on them. He was crying because he had found out Nezuko is now dating someone. If he was cruel, he would break them up, but then Nezuko would be sad and never forgive him.

Zenitsu thought he wouldn't get a happy ending with a girl that he adored and loved... a girl like Nezuko. The last time he dated a girl, she stole his money and left him. He told himself that he wouldn't let himself be tricked ever again. That was until he met Nezuko a year ago.

He was walking to school, while looking at his phone. He didn't notice someone was walking in front of him until he bumped into them. They bumped their heads and rubbed it.

"Sorry about that!" The person said to Zenitsu. He looked up and saw a girl with long hair and dark pink eyes that stared into his as well. He started screeching in his head.

Gyahh! She's so cute!! He suddenly asked a question that suddenly went out of his mouth without a thought in his head.

"How old are you? How are you? What school do you go to?" Zenitsu spooked the pink eyed girl a bit, so she started stepping back a bit. Zenitsu noticed and apologized.

"Oh! Sorry about that! It's just... you're so beautiful!" Zenitsu said it with a chuckle.

"Why, thank you!" She said with a smile. Zenitsu soon realized something.

"Are you, by any chance, related to Tanjiro Kamado? You two look alike." Zenitsu was actually curious.

She gasped a bit. "Yes! You know my big brother?!" She said in an exclaiming voice.

Big brother?!

"Uh yeah! I know him! We went to the same summer camp!" Zenitsu said as he explained to her about he and Tanjiro getting attacked by a boar, until a boy came and fought with it and won. He also told her that Tanjiro was like a mom to him and everyone else, because he would make food for them.

The girl laughed. "Yup, that's my brother alright. He told me about him cooking for his camp mates, but never told me about being attacked by a boar! He did tell me though that he made two friends though. It was a hyper boy and a girl-obsessed boy! I don't know how he made friends with someone who's obsessed with girls!" She said in a disgusted voice. Zenitsu laughed nervously.

"Actually... I'm that boy. Nice to meet you, names Zenitsu Agatsuma." Zenitsu said nervously and took out his hand, waiting for her to shake it back, but she didn't.

"Uhhh... I should go, my mothers waiting for me." The girl walked passed him, as if he and her never spoke. Zenitsu put on a sad expression.

Why did I tell her that? I'm so stupid! So stupid! Zenitsu kept hitting his forehead as he reached his home.

"I'm back." Zenitsu said and an old man welcomed him back as he went upstairs to sleep.

"I don't think I'll ever see her again." Zenitsu groaned in a disappointed voice. He then shut his eyes closed and was soon asleep.

Zenitsu woke up and checked the time. He was late for school. He checked what the date was.

Oh... it was only a dream. It felt like I've had it for days. Zenitsu stretched, changed clothes, brushed his teeth, and headed out.

"You're not going to eat, Zenitsu?" The old man asked.

"No thank you, Gramps. I'm not feeling hungry right now. Maybe after school though." Zenitsu said with a slight smile and walked out the door and closed it.
