The second she felt you roll out of her warm but loose embrace, Vivi's eyes opened wide.
She turned her head to look at the clock on the bedside table and saw it was after four in the morning.
She has to her up in just a couple of short hours and she knows sleeping without you close to her, without you in her arms, would be impossible.
She felt around for you and a few seconds later, she felt the warm skin of your back against her fingertips.
Your shirt had ridden up a bit from moving around a bit and you seemed to be cold, just like she was feeling.
It only made her want to cuddle you even more.
She rubbed your back in circles and softly whispered your name until you opened your eyes, a few soft sounds escaping your lips.
"Hey, baby. I'm so sorry to wake you."
"It's okay." You spoke sleepily and Vivi couldn't help but smile over the sound of your sweet, tired voice.
"You rolled out of my arms a moment ago. You seem cold, I'm feeling cold too. Do you want to cuddle?"
Despite feeling super sleepy, you couldn't help but smile a little.
"Yeah, I'd love that."
You rolled onto your back and she pulled you into her arms, straightening out your shirt for you before she tangled your legs together and covered you up.
"I love you so much." She said and kissed your forehead.
"I love you too." You said and tilted your head up, giving her a quick kiss before you put your head on her chest and closed your eyes.
"Goodnight, my love. Sleep tight." She whispered and rubbed your back as she laid her head on yours and closed her eyes.
She quickly fell back asleep with a small smile on her face because she was happy to be cuddling with you again, as cozy and warm as can be.
