I turned around quickly, and there he was. The asshole in a tuxedo looking rathe sexy. But that wasn't what I was here, I needed a job. Not a man to drool over.
I stood up tall, looking straight at him, but his eyes seemed to be somewhere else. I straightened out my skirt, looking up at him.
His presence was making me a bit nervous I couldn't lie.
He soon spoke,"Ms. Price, we've met before, and our encounter wasn't exactly respectful.. on your part. But that's not what you're here for today, follow me." I felt my eyebrows twitching.
Who the fuck did this guy think he was?
He quickly walked to the elevator, I was 5'9 but I was still having a hard time keeping up with him, I definitely understood how Mia at her short height felt.
I walked into the elevator that had marble everywhere, it was so clean there wasn't a single piece of dirt anywhere. He pressed some button, which I'm guessing is the top floor.
Time to ask the questions, sir.
I turned my heel to him, and let out a cough since he seemed to be so occupied with the flooring. "Excuse my language, but I'd love to know why the hell my resume wasn't accepted until you approved it and why?" I said it in more of a statement tone, I wanted my answer.
He turned to me, his eyes narrowing me down," "Ms. Price, would you like to keep this opportunity at a well paying firm right under my wing?" He said, leaning down to my ear and whispering. His breath was fanning my ear, it was turning red because of this Devil's hot ass breath.
or maybe it was turning you on.
But of course the devil, had to say something to ruin the non- existent moment.
""I'd suggest you shut that mouth of yours and only reply when talked to." His breath was still fanning my ear, I didn't break a single sweat. I wouldn't let him break me or make me upset on my first day at an actual job.
Right as he stood straight, now away from my red ears I felt myself about to snap.
I'm going to fucking cuss him out.

The elevator actually saved this man, I was so closed to murdering him. But, there was other things that caught my attention. As the elevator opened leading straight into his office. His desk was right in the middle with a beautiful diamond chandelier at the top, windows on every side. The lights were dimmed, and I was in awe. My mouth was literally wide open, this time I was an actual fish.
He looked over at me, seeing how surprised I was."Ms. Price? Focus. I'm not gonna warn you again."
Fucking asshole, you can't even be impressed on this property!
I looked up at him and back to the large office, I didn't know where to go or what to do. "Yes, sorry Mr. Coleman."
That fucking irritated me to say.
