On an orange sunset of September, fed-up-with-the-wold-and-all-its-bullshit Piper went to the riverbank bridge with the intent to jump onto the river. She was fully decided until her intense crush, Indie Vega, came to stop her. The two girls sat on the bridge together and instantly sparked a connection, forming a little world of their own.
Things were going so well until Indie dropped something.
A gun.
A real gun.
An hour after that, seven lives—all women—would be shot dead. Obviously, everyone believed that Indie was the one responsible for it—she had the gun, after all . . . everyone believed so. Everyone but Piper.
As Piper knows about the truth more than everyone else does.
Even after four years, Piper did not speak of the incident nor Indie's name, but then, a series of fucked-up events led her to face and look back at that sunset of September once again. Piper then decided that she would dive deeper into Indie Vega's catastrophic case . . . in the most chaotic way possible there is.
