Nandini was getting ready in front of the mirror when Manik came out of the washroom wrapping a towel around his waist. He went and back hugged nandini, shaking his head letting a few water droplets fall on her.

Nandini-(struggling in his hold) manii kyaa kar rhe ho? I'm getting late.
( Manii what are you doing? I'm getting late)

Manik-(in a husky tone) Mrs Malhotra, will you come on a date with me today?

Nandini- (smiling) date?

Manik-(lovingly) ahemm hmm, it's been a long we have spent some alone time with each other. Please come na.

He said last line pouting like a baby, making Nandini chuckled at her man child. She kept her hand on his cheeks and said

Nandini- I would love to come with you manii but we were going to invite ahaan today for lunch na?

Manik- (whining) haan Jaan but date tou raat ko hai naa. Comeee naaaaaaaaaa.

He said stretching 'a' making Nandini giggle. She turned around and hugged him tightly.

Nandini- okay Mr Malhotra I would love to go on a date with you but you have to go and invite ahaan by yourself cause I just got a call from the hospital and I'm needed there for an hour. Sooo...

Manik-(dramatically) aapke liye jaan bhi dedu, ahaan ke ghar jana kya cheez hai.
( I can give my life for you, what's the big deal in going to ahaan's house)

Nandini-(giggling)  what happened to you today? Being all cheesy and loving.

Manik- saw your face as soon as I wake up jaanemann.

Nandini-(laughing) ohh God Manik, please stop or else I will get diabetes.

Both laugh like 'so in love teenagers' and soon manik pulls her closer holding her waist and then joined their foreheads just living in that moment.

But soon there peaceful moment broke with a voice of devil making manik scoff and nandini laughs

Aarav- (shouting) maaaaaaaa I will die of hunger, come down pleaseee

Manik-(muttering angrily) this temple guy, he was better in states only. He should have gone instead of my kiddo, huh. I will drop him back to the temple today.

Saying this he left stomping his foot like a kid with a determined expression leaving laughing nandini behind.

Downstairs, everyone was sitting on the dining table where araav was again and again looking upwards waiting for manan to come down so that they can start their breakfast.

He was going to shout once again but stopped seeing manik coming down with nandini behind him.

As manik was at first step aarav hurriedly said - dad jaldi jaldi
(Dad, fast fast)

Manik-(annoyingly) ab kya kud jaaun yaha se?
( Now should I jump from here?)

Everyone giggles listening to him while aarav made a bad face and said- no you will jump, then the floor will break and you will take money from me for repair. I ain't spending my money on such useless things, huh.
