Prologue

(Dec 26th, 1992)
"Hey Mark! I got the second controller!" A boy said in front of me.
"Oh My God! That's so awesome!" I yelled excitedly
"Wanna play Sonic 2?!"
"YEAH!!"
"Who you playing as?"
"Since you're the owner, I'll be Tails and you can be Sonic."
"Ayight."
(shift)
(March 1st, 1993)
*CRASH*
"AHHH!" I yelled
"What the hell?!" A voice beside me
"Then get outta my way!" The guy in front of me said.
"Hey man, What's your deal?!" I retorted.
"Had a bad day and you were in my way!"
"Look man. I'm sorry things aren't looking out for you but that doesn't mean you have to take it out on me."
"Talk all you want asshole!" He said turning away.
"Man, you, okay? That was one hell of a slug you just took!" The boy helped me up.
"I'm good, Angel-man. Don't know what happened with him though."
"Probably just realized he had a small dick."
"HA HA HA! OH MY GOD!!"
(shift)
"LOOK OUT!!" Someone yelled behind me.
*BOING*
"Hu" *SMACK*
"AH!" I held my forehead.
"OH MY GOD!! SORRY!" A voice said behind me.
"HAHAHA! SIT DOWN YA TURD!" An all too familiar one said as well.
I stumbled down holding my head as it hurt a little.
"Owowowowowow!"
"Are you Okay?" A voice said behind me.
I looked behind me to see a girl my age. She looked pretty.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Thank you."
She chuckled. "Let me see."
I lifted off my hand to reveal a slightly red mark.
"Oh. It's a little red. Here." She says as she blows on it to make it feel better.
"Oh Thanks... uh"
Shoot. I don't know her name.
"Selina. My name is Selina." She says as she helps me up from the ground
"Oh. Okay. Name's Mark."
(shift)
"Mark, we need to talk."
I hang my head low in guilt. "Look man, I'm sorry I put you through...aAH"
He wraps his arms around me in a big tight hug, the tightest he's probably mustered in his entire life.
"Mark, you don't need to explain yourself. I saw what you did. I never felt betrayed or hurt because of what happened."
He leans out of the hug to face me directly.
"I was terrified."
(shift)
