Well here it is. Enjoy!! FYI the ending for "choice 1" may not be so spectacular. I've never been good at finishing stories (or writing them for that matter). Just a heads up in case you get disappointed at this

The bronze saints wasted no time is carrying their former comrade up the 12 palaces. Each time they passed a temple that had resident gold saint they immediately lent a hand.

Athena stood at the foot of her temple, Seiya stood behind her holding a large round shield, the Shield of Justice. When they saw the group reach the temple the two rushed to meet them.

"Quick! Set him down on the ground!" Shiryu yelled as the Wolf and Orion saints gently rested Y/N's head on the ground.

Seiya immediately dragged the shield and set it up in front of the Leo Saint, begging anyone that their plan would work.

The shield began to glow a brilliant golden light, engulfing everyone in a warm embrace, before it suddenly dissipated, shocking everyone. "Why isn't it working?!" Soma demanded.

"Look." Fudo pointed. Everyone followed the direction of the Virgo Saint's finger to Y/N, who flickered with a broken golden aura.

"He's fighting the shield." Shun gasped in surprise. Everyone had caught on to what was happening not long after. Ikki grabbed Y/N by the shoulders "What are you doing? You need this to live!" He snapped.

Y/N just smiled, and in a very weak and pained voice he whispered. "Phoenix, thank you for all you've done. Thank you all of you for your effort, but this is not what I want. Ever since I was injured I knew that this was it, there was nothing else for me. If you all truly wish to make amends for your actions, then please, stay by my side in my final moments, I do not wish to pass away alone."

No one could speak. They were too stunned at what they were hearing, but they abided by his wishes. They all stood where they were, waiting for the now inevitable outcome.

Before his Cosmo faded, they saw him smile, as if he was thanking them, then his body faded into Golden particles that floated into the night sky. The starts that made up the Zodiac Constellation of the Golden Lion shone brightly in the night sky as a piercing sound raged through the air. The roar of a Lion.

It was official. Gold Saint Leo Y/N had perished

Epilogue
It had been 5 years since he had passed. It took all of Sanctuary a long time to move on.

It wouldn't be until the next generation that the Gold Cloth of Leo would find a new master, but all of Athena's Saints would never forget the Golden Lion who had fought for them to the very end.

It became a famous legend in Sanctuary, if you fought for the right cause, if you refused to bow down to evil no matter what, then he would guide you and protect you in battle. If you were a true Saint who protected the love and peace of mankind, then you would hear the Golden Lion's roar, proclaiming that the Saints would never falter in their battle against darkness
