Chapter two 🥀

Unknown POV
The palace looks grand. I believe it would be a great place. She is a maid I believe, let's ask her about my invitation. "Hello, miss are you free for some moment?"
"Yes, how may I help you?"
"Umm, I was invited to the castle." Said the girl showing an envelope with the royal seal.
"Ohh, I think it's from The king. And I am Alyssa, seeing the envelope I know that you will stay here for a while. I would give you the advice to keep your distance from the Prince." "Oh thank you very much, Alyssa, I am Amelia. Hope we get along well." After that Amelia started her walk again. After asking paths to other men from the palace, she ultimately reached the main hall. There was judiciary work going on at the moment so she didn't want to disturb, but the king saw her.
* The King was a nice man who took care of and treated the young people around the palace as his children which made the young prince very jealous and toxic.*
The King saw her and invited her inside the courtroom. Amelia was uncertain of what to do, so she obeyed the king. Amelia was young at the time but was very mature for her age. She came inside and sat on one of the chairs.
The King gave her a warm welcoming smile to which she returned with a hint of upward turned lips. Though it was a small smile, King understood that it was genuine. Then the court work continued.
After some time~
The court work was finished. The King called her and introduced her to the prince. Amelia was called for being a talented violinist. The King introduced her to her peers. She was escorted to her chamber. *The musical artists were very respected in this kingdom*

After some musical classes, she was perfect to do her musical show. She always felt Prince's eyes on her but couldn't do anything.
More time passed, she joined the royal orchestra. She was now even closer to the king, she started to feel the father-daughter relation with him but as time passed she felt even more uncomfortable around the prince, even if she was close with the king it didn't give her the right to complain about his son to him though now she wished she did.

After a few years, Amelia became a beautiful and talented violinist she even had a father figure around her which made her feel safe even around the prince. One day the King unexpectedly died from being bit by a serpent. Then prince Archibald became the successor. He changed many rules of the kingdom. On the day after his Coronation, he called Amelia and physically harased her. Though she was a strong female with an incredible amount of emotional control, she couldn't go against the new "king". From that day onwards she was called to Archibald's chamber whenever he was frustrated. It continued for nearly a year. The socially friendly Amelia was now known as a cold girl who didn't talk to anyone.
Each year around autumn the Royal orchestra of each neighboring country held a grand music carnival. The carnival was always held from the end of September till the end of November. Each year a country would host it. This year it was the turn of The Empire of Orane which didn't have a good relationship with her kingdom since Archibald became the king. And it was also the first time she was gonna attend the Carnival.
