One Of Us Is Back

Introduction

This is, a continuation of the One Of Us Is Lying and One Of Us Is Next book series by Karen McManus. I absolutely adore this book, and this is my take on what will happen after the One Of Us Is Next book ends. 

This will follow the journey of Knox, Phoebe and Maeve (same as One Of Us Is Next) and go through their journey, and how they navigate the entire Jared Jackson case.

If you haven't read what happened in the previous books, here is what happened. In the first book, there were four kids in detention with Simon Kelleher. He died mysteriously, and they all had a secret that Simon was about to post on them. Copper was gay, Bronwyn cheated on a test, Nate was selling drugs, Addy cheated on her boyfriend. All of them were being investigated for murder. In the end, it turns out that Simon and his accomplices concocted a plan to kill Simon and frame the four for murder because Simon had personal grudges against them. The four found that out and turned it over to the police.

In the second book, the four kids went off the college, and there was the next generation of Bayview students. There was this random texter who wanted to continue Simon's legacy, and it was a game of Truth or Dare. If you didn't do the dare, you would have your secret spilt into the world to know. Phoebe didn't respond, and everyone found out that she slept with her sister's ex boyfriend. There were other people involved and they did the dares. Maeve didn't respond either (she is Bronwyn's sister), and everyone found out that she and Knox broke up because Knox couldn't perform sexually. Brandon died from a construction accident, and the trio that were affected (Maeve, Knox and Phoebe) tried to investigate harder to find the core of this. Maeve, Knox and Phoebe eventually found out the texter was Jared Jackson who was doing this because Phoebe's sister wanted him to because she found out that Phoebe slept with her ex and wanted revenge on Brandon for killing her father. At the end, when the messages between Emma (Phoebe's sister) and Jared Jackson were revealed to Emma and Phoebe, they knew that their little brother was involved somehow because of his spelling mistake that he made.

I hope you do enjoy. I tried to keep as many of the characters from the first two books intact because that was something that I absolutely loved from both books so, I hope you enjoy.
