When Chaeyoung got home, she started on her poem first. She was told by Jisoo that she should write out her feelings about Jennie.
"Well Jisoo it would surely help if I knew what I was feeling so I know what I'm trying to write huh?!"
Chaeyoung sat on her bed with her notebook paper on a hard surface (that could be a binder or folder, nothing else) on her lap with a pen in hand. She didn't know how to give the notion.
After thirty minutes of sitting down thinking, Chaeyoung wrote down all the possible emotions that thought she was feeling.
Lust
Happiness
Love
Anger
Frustration
Joy
"Short... But it's what I think I'm feeling. Of course it's hard to recognize, and I'm sure I have more emotions that would make this list taller than the tallest man alive!"
Chaeyoung looked over the list one last time before deciding to start her poem. She disliked some of her writings, but she kept her favourites and evaluated which of her favourites was the best. After choosing her final poem, she started her other homework.
"Now that everything's done, I have time to read manga!"
Relieved that her work for the night was done, Chaeyoung pulled out her manga and read until she knew she had to get to bed. To remember to bring her poem, she used it as a book mark for her manga and planned to write another poem for the actual literature club the next day in her first class.
Chaeyoung decided to walk to school with Jennie, but only to get a better feel of her emotions. It wasn't certain she liked Jennie, no matter how much he body said she did.
"You okay Chaeyoung? You've been acting a bit strange..." Jennie asked when they got onto school grounds. "Oh umm, nah I'm all good. I mean c'mon, how can I not be okay?!" Chaeyoung put on the biggest grin she could and pumped a fist into the air. This made Jennie giggle. "Hah see? I can make even YOU happy Jennie! You must need me around more; I'm just so good at making people happy without trying." Chaeyoung boasted. "Not quite yet Chae, you gotta take lessons on how to cheer up other first..." Jennie finished, parting ways with Chaeyoung.
"Lessons? What is she a therapist? Either way I made her laugh, and I'd listen to it all day."
It didn't dawn Chaeyoung till she went to her daily water fountain visit that Jennie gave her a nickname.
"She... She called me Chae!"
Chaeyoung almost spit her water out onto another kid, but directed her aim towards the wall. Either way, she spit water.
"Aww it's adorable! Only Jennie can say it though, it sounds better when she does it."
That was all that went through her head during her first class. That Jennie had called her a nickname and it happened when Chaeyoung had tried to drop hints.
"Oh Lisa it was HEAVEN!" Chaeyoung finished explaining her walk to school with Jennie to Lisa. "Well hey for once calm down about it! Somebody will overhear..." Lisa instructed. "It doesn't help that you already know and paired me with her for the festival huh Lisa?" Chaeyoung snapped back.
"Uh... Yeah true but it's meant to be," Lisa smiled. "And Jisoo told me you were told to write a poem about your feelings--." Chaeyoung cut off Lisa.
"OH YEAH! I still need to write a second one for club, but about what... OH I know! About Jennie calling me Chae! Oh this is perfect Lisa, just perfect!" Chaeyoung cheered and jumped out of her seat.
