"So," I say, "May I ask about the guests?" I ask hoping not to push it.
He gave me a slightly amused glance while looking up from his plate quickly. "They're a few of my friends," He said in his thick British accent, "they're likeable." He confirmed.
I mumbled a short agreement before quickly finishing up my breakfast, rinsing off my plate in the sink and hurriedly rushing upstairs.
I hated the awkwardness. I ran up the stairs and I finally had reached my room out of breath.
I opened the door and slammed it behind me, automatically leaning my back against the door on the inside of my room. Not long after I slid down the door using my back to sit on the ground against the door.
Could these guests be any worse than him?

Piqué, Pirouette, fouetté open, fouetté close. Repeat.
I hummed to the song Amnesia, by Five Seconds Of Summer as I made up small combos to the sad song. The door burst open and I stop immediately. Not exactly gracefully either.
I stomp my pointed foot down, except the rest of my body did not yet stop spinning. Which of when, my leg met the other leg, I tumbled to the ground landing right on my butt.
I put my hands back to help me not be completely lying on the ground as I faced my surprise visitor standing at the door. His green eyes pierced into mine amused as I felt the heat rise to my cheeks.
He smirked. I got up and walked over and sat on my bed while he remained at the doorway, now leaning on the door frame.
"I got something for you." He told me as I awkwardly fiddled with my thumbs, avoiding eye contact. I looked up at him slightly before he held out a small box of some sort in his hand, a smirk reappearing on his face. I leapt off the side of the bed and walked over cautiously before realizing the thing in his hand.
iPhone.
I grinned and he obviously noticed. He slid the phone held in a pastel red case to show its screen up to me before unlocking it.
"I know you've been deprived of music so I got you a music app for free downloads." He said with a smile directed at me.
"Everything is set up already, therefore, contacts and setting aren't to be tampered with and if I see any suspicious calls in or out to your phone, you can sure as hell bet I'll be checking." I smiled as I now held the phone in my hands admiring it as he talked.
"Calls and texts only to contacts in your phone. Any broken rules will mean suspension from your phone privileges and punishment." He said grimly, a smile no longer evident on his face. "Got it?"
I gulped and nodded. "Pardon?" He inquired quizzically.
"Yes Peter." I mumbled. He slung his arm around my shoulders.
"Good." He said approvingly as he rubbed my back, "Visitors will soon be here so get ready." He warned before retracting his hand from my shoulders and leaving my room, closing the door behind him.
As soon as he left, I dashed over to my enormous closet. Decisions, decisions.

"Mikayla?" I heard Peter shout from an undetermined location.
"Yeah!" I answered loudly. The door opened as I admired myself in my mirror. I looked at the figure in the door, it surprisingly not whom I had expected it to be.
"Ou, you looking fancy girl." Hayes said in a dramatic tone.
"It isn't that fancy Hayes," I said giggling while looking at myself in the mirror. I had put on 3/4 sleeved black long sleeve with a logo on the front, paired with a medium grey pair of skinny jeans.
"Well it's snazzy." He said walking over to me.
"Well," I said, "Its casual to me."
"Sweet." He replied with a smile. "Well, Peter told me to bring you downstairs because the guests are here, that's why he called you."
"Oh okay," I said with a smile as we left my room. We walked through the house where everywhere seemed deserted. Hayes led me to the basement stairs and I realized where everyone must've been, also assuming from the music I could hear lightly playing.
We make our way down the basement stairs, going to the much preferred area of the basement, not the despised part. We looked down the stairs and I saw everyone laying around the couches.
Or should I say, everyone plus more. More people I don't know. Peter turns around from his lonely spot himself and an other unknown guy on one couch.
"Hayes and Mikayla!" Peter calls, "Look who showed up!" He said with a smile as we descended the stairs. He got up from the couch and approached us.
Hayes went the straight to the end of a different couch as Peter put his arm around my shoulder with a grin. He lead us to where he was sitting and we remained standing. "Mikayla, these are my friends. Austin, his girl Sasha, Shawn, and Luke." They all stood up.
"Austin," A tall brunette male shook my hand. I looked at Peter uneasily and he raised an eyebrow at me and made a small hand gesture to indicate for me to go on and hug him. I do so awkwardly and Austin simply returns the gesture.
"Sasha." The short blonde behind Austin said.
"Mikayla," I introduced with a smile as we gently hugged. The next one was Shawn, he gave me a warmer, more heartfelt hug than the other guys which lead me to think that he's the softer one with more heart and understanding.
Luke was a tall muscular figure who seemed just as loyal to Austin as Hayes, Kalim, and Ruben did for Peter.
I gave Luke a small hug as he introduced himself, not exactly liking the fact that Peter always made me hug people I had just newly met and was expected to respect.
We all sat down again as everyone lightly chatted enjoying the night as I was off in my own daze. Peter eyed me tentatively while I aimlessly regarded the TV mindlessly.
A knock on the door made everyone stop for a quick moment before Peter reassured them that he's going to get it. Thats when he grabbed my hand and brought me up the stairs with him.
He quickly eyed a small camera next to our iron door which appeared to be wood from the outside. He pulled it open to reveal a blonde woman standing the accompanied by a bleach blonde guy who was much taller than the petite, beside her.
Peter welcomed them in and greeted the lady with a hug and kiss on the cheek, and bro hugged the guy.
"Mikayla," Peter said proudly, "I'd like you to meet the one and only, Trisha." He told me with a cheeky grin.
