December 28th, 1915.

a Hiker reported to the station master at Maron that he had seen an engine fall off of the viaduct over the Hawin Ab, when a recovery team was sent over to search the river for the reported crash, unexpectedly the recovery team found nothing , not even the ice that coated the river hadn't been cracked or damaged in any way. while combing the area, one recovery worker found a bent and rusted funnel that had seemed to have found its way to the riverbed. the funnel was later sent to Cronk and melted down as it served no function to remain at the bottom of the viaduct.

The hiker was later interviewed about what he had saw, according to his account, he had described the engine as "small and box like, painted in a blueish white livery with a faded number 0 painted on it's cab side" the most odd part of the hiker's description was "it had no face, the smokebox door appeared to have been taken off leaving only an empty black hole where it should have been." the interview was later called off and the claim was labeled a false alarm, and the holiday events carried out as usual.

December 28th, 1924.

Two engineers aboard the locomotive 48032 borrowed from a private company in Carlisle reported that they saw an unregistered locomotive passed by them at a junction hear Wellsworth.

The fireman gives a eerily similar description to the description of an engine from a 1915 report. the only difference was that the fireman mentioned "the engine looked like it had been battered up a bit, the rear cab supports were bent, the tank of the locomotive appeared to have been ruptured or torn open, the funnel and whistle were bent into an aquard position, the funnel had a visible crack in it, the front buffer beam was also cracked, with the right side of it hanging slightly. " no mention of a face or lack of one was mentioned in the interview, but the engine that witnessed the sight in question seemed star struck and kept muttering about "the eyes".

this report was later labeled as undefined and no mentions of the event were spoken afterwards.

October 20th, 1962.

Engineer of NWR No.6 "Percy" reports an incident that happened the night before about how they had rammed into a shipment of lime at Crowe's Farm Crossing, they had no time to clean Percy so they went to the earist signalbox to ask for help, during their stay at the junction, the signalman had mentioned that "percy looks like a ghost." Percy would later convince his crew and the crew of NWR No.7 "Toby" to pull a prank on NWR No.1 "Thomas" by convincing him that percy had a fateful accident and had returned as a ghost. this plan was later carried out, and it had given Thomas a fright as intended. Percy's engineer also mentioned what inspired the incident where he recalls that Percy had told thomas a story about "The Engine of the Gap" witch was documented on a TV program called "Railway Mysteries".

this report was labeled as a Minor accident, and the prank later wore off on Thomas, he never talks about it, and he always gets angry when it's mentioned.
