"Shhhh. It's okay baby"
"Keep telling her that" Y/n joked. They were very cute when they tried to make everyone feel better but now wasn't that time "Right.. Sorry, not helping" They chuckled nervously and turned to leave the room
"You hold her" I held out Luna to them with a tired grin
"No way. I'm going back to bed" Y/n tried to walk away but couldn't do it "I'm sorry.. Here I'll hold her"
"I was kidding babe" I moved Luna back to my chest while i sat down on the bed "Why did the both of us wake up again?"
"Even though I'm tired I can't help but get up with you whenever you come in here. It brings me so much joy" Y/n smiled as they came to sit down next to me "For a couple of first time parents I'd say we're doing pretty damn good"
"You think so?" I asked. Sure Luna has been crying a lot and she doesn't always listen or go to bed when I want her.. I'm pretty sure that's all normal for a infant
"I think we're doing great Wands. Or your doing great. She doesn't like listening to me as much, but she loves you. I do a decent job" Y/n shrugged then smacked themselves a few times to stay awake
"Go back to sleep Y/n" I gently squeezed their arm
"I'm up" They laughed and tried to make more of an effort to stay awake
"Y/n.." I sighed as I stared at them
"Okay" They jumped up with excitement and gave me a quick peck on the lips "Love you, good night. I'll keep the bed warm for you sweet cheeks"
"Love you to. Now go to bed" I hit them gently
"Otay" Y/n pouted like a kid then moped out the room
"Your O'pa is very weird" I whispered to Luna as she held onto my finger
"Ah" She yelled quietly and started blowing spit out her mouth
"How aren't you tired?" I lifted her up to my shoulder when I stood up and gently bounced her as I walked around the house, humming a song
"Wanda" Y/n called out from our room
"Yes love" I giggled quietly because I knew why they were calling me
"As adorable as your humming, little footsteps and Lunas baby noises are. Can you please turn them down a little? I don't wanna sound rude but...
"I know babe. I'll be quieter" I laughed as I poked Lunas nose "I guess a little fresh air wouldn't hurt"
I went back to the room slipped Luna in some warmer clothes along with the cute little jacket that Rose got her
Rose actually gave me a whole speech in sokovian, which I found amusing because I rarely speak it anymore but I'm glad I don't have to hide my accent whenever I'm with the people I love, which is Y/n and now Luna. Anyway. Rose gave me a whole speech on the dos and don'ts with my newborn daughter. Even though she's a few months now she loves to argue. Yesterday I told her she wasn't getting more milk because she already had more than enough and she started yelling at me in her inaudible baby language
We were now outside looking at the dark sky. It wasn't completely dark considering the sun will be up in a few hours but it was dark enough that I was able to take Luna out here and hopefully put her to sleep. She was being pretty restless tonight so I'm glad I got a little sleep beforehand
"Hey Luna. What do you say? You think the roof will be a good spot" I rubbed her cheek, making her let out a soft giggle "To the roof it is" I held her a little tighter and flew up to the roof of our apartment building. Thank god it was a flat roof
