You can't buy me! (Oncest)

Once a Once-ler.

♧Lorax P.O.V♧

This wasn't good. This wasn't him. The guy I knew just a few weeks ago was nice, he made a promise. Who ever this is in his place was not him. Greed-ler was destroying everything and every animal. It was already clear he won't listen to me or reason.. but maybe..

"OF COURSE!" I yell out loud frightening the little bear by me, I pet him on the head and he calms down. I just need Once-ler back, or I need Once-ler in general. If I can't talk sense into him maybe his old self can, or a person like him, because all I can do is make someone like how he use to be. This time I'll make sure no greed is in his heart. I can't take the chance.

As I prepare I ask all the animals surrounding to move away as for the lightening may hit them or even just scare them, they do so but watch from a distance. They had seen me appear from a stump, this isn't as bizarre. I rub my hands together in a sort of warming up motion and then trusted them up towards the sky. The sky began to swirl and darken. A single lightening bolt struck and then the sky went back to normal. There he was. Once-ler laid on the grass unconscious. I quickly signaled to the close by animal to give me a hand, we carried him off to his old house. Everything looked the same but just dirtier from no one being in there for a while. But the animals tidied it up after setting Once-ler in his bed, they were happy, I could sense it.

"Hey kid," I spoke after several hours of us staring at him waiting for him to wake up, but that journey here must of done a number on him. The little bear poked him and then shook him a little, this made his eyes slowly open.

"Hey you're up!" I said happy to see those blue eyes instead of green. This was who I met. He looked around confused but then stared at me.

"Um Lorax? What's going on?" He asked. I didn't blame him for being confused, he only had memories from when he was here, the ones I gave him, then nothing. He was technically a new person, his own person.

"Well you see, this... guy, has been chopping down the trees," I said. I decided I would be careful with my words, if I were to confuse him too much at once it would most likely be too much for him to handle. I also made sure he had no memory of the Thneed.

"What?!" He asked sitting up concerned. That was good. I could see in his eyes he was worried, this is just what I need. Maybe he can reason with Greed or even just make a deal, a compromise, to save this forest and everyone in it.

"Yeah. His name is Greed. He is using it for his product, soon no more trees will be left," I spoke with concern, Once-ler nodded to show he was also as concerned.

"That's horrible, where would all you guys live?" He asked looking around at all the animal who looked down at the ground knowing their home would be no more soon and their only chance would to hopefully find somewhere else.

"We don't know," I said softly. Looking over at them all. Then suddenly Once-ler cried out in pain as he grabbed his head and shot back down onto the bed.

"Kid are you okay?!" I asked alarmed, as I hurried over to his side. He nodded slowly as he was curled up in the fetal position.

"Just.. just a bad head ache," he said like he was out of breath, the pain must be severe. This was most likely a side effect of my magic or him being created, either way there was simply nothing I could do. After a few seconds I could see him loosen, he had passed out. I silently signaled the animals and we left the house so he could rest.

♤Once-ler P.O.V♤
(Hours later)

My head was in so much pain, just a sudden surge. It hurt so much. It must of caused me to pass out. My eyes opened to see the room was now dark, it must be night time. I rolled over to look at the ceiling and think about everything The Lorax has told me. So there is a guy named Greed who is using the tree's for his product.. not only that but chopping them completely down.. how cruel. Why would he do such a thing and when did he get here? Not a lot of things made a whole lot of sense but I assumed that was just after effects of my head ache. But I would like to meet this Greed. Even if I will hate him.

"You awake yet?" Asked a voice from just outside my door, the door opened more to show it was The Lorax. When he saw me up he smiled and trotted in.

"Good, you scared me there for a little," He said looking relieved to see me up and awake and hopped up next to me.

"Yeah it was just a head ache," I assured him, it was just a ready bad head ache.. I didn't want him worring about me, we should both be worring about the forest.

"Hey Lorax," I finally say after a few moments of silence. He quickly turned to me, I saw this as a okay to talk.

"I want to meet this Greed," I said. I was determined to meet this guy and find out what his deal was, the Lorax looked taken back for a little and then sighed.

"Kid, first you have to get a feel for him, we will go in disguise to his favorite place, it happens to be Friday the day he goes," The Lorax said, I nodded, that sounded reasonable. I did want to see how this guy acted before I encounter him face to face. Learn your enemy. The Lorax hopped down and began raiding my closet throwing outfits every which way.

"Here," he said as he handed me black slacks, blue button up shirt and some of old glasses I wore before contacts.

"I look like a nerd," I sighed as I stared at the mirror, as I began to reach for my normal hat The Lorax snatched it away and handed me a ball cap.

"Wear it backward," he said, I looked like a nerdy party boy or a wannabe business guy. I sighed loudly.

"This is horr-" I began but stopped as I looked down at The Lorax, he was wearing my hat and a tiny suit, I couldn't hold it in.

"What.. what are you wearing?" I asked between laughs. The Lorax's glared at me and looked like he wanted to hit me. But that just made me laugh more, he looked like a tiny angry hairy businessman!

"Shut up and come on," he said angrily as he stormed out the door. I laughed and followed.
