"What pack is the nearest to us?" My Dad asks as he raises a brow at the warrior.

"Luna Pride."

Help! Emily is knocked out. A female says in the mate link,

Im Winter.Emily's wolf she tripped and hit her head in a tree bark. She says calmly

What?! I reply nearly shouting in the mate link.

Just get your ass here. She replies avoiding the argument that might happen between us.

I wait outside Emily's room while the doctor is running some tests on her.My Dad left me since he has Alpha business to do,While my Mom is anxious to know what happened to Emily.

"You know I'm the one who is suppose to be worry." I say with a scoff. My Mom just gave me the. I-Don't-Give-A-Fuck look.

"Mister and Misses Edwards." A deep raspy voice says behind me. I turn around and see the Doctor who has been running tests on Emily.

"Is she awake?" Was all my Mom could say.He nodded in reply but raised his hand in front of us telling that there is more to say.

"She will be check out of the hospital today." He says simply before me and my Mom burst into the room.

I look around the room to find a petite brunette.My eyes landed on a girl who is staring at the ground and is hugging her legs close to her chest.

"Emily?" I say softly with worry laced in my voice,Her head snaps to my direction and our eyes lock again.I can see her cheeks red and tears falling down her face.In seconds I'm next to her and hugging her gently massaging her back.

"I-I E-Emilia R-Rose Winst-ton r-reject you." She stutters hugging her legs closer to her chest.

What?! She rejects me?! What did I do?!

"What?! Why?!" I exclaim standing up in front of her.My Mom mumbles an excuse me before she leaves the room.

"Its a tradition in my Family,We reject our mate to marry the soon-to-be Alpha of the Red Blood pack....," She trails off and sighs before she continues."If I don't get wed to Jesse they'll kill me,My Dad told me that when my Mom was about to be wed to the soon-to-be Alpha of the Red Blood pack,She broke the tradition and wed to my Dad after I was born she left me in the house and ran into the woods,she told my Dad to not find her nor kill their members nor tell the council,she sacrificed her life for me and my Dad." She started sobbing again making her shirt damp.

"When will stop breaking the rules?" I ask,she looks up and gives me a questioning look.

"What rules?" She ask

"We're mates, nothing can separate us-" I was cut off by Emily

"There is no rules for that! I Emilia Rose Winston reject you Kyle Edwards!" She shouts at me before she runs for the door and slams it shut.

She rejected me, she actually rejected me. I feel empty after she said that last sentence.

I leave the hospital and go to the nearest club in town.
