"Any idea who this Elizabeth Liones girl is that everyone has been comparing me to since I arrived here?" I asked,pretending to not know
"I don't really know much about her but Elaine told me that Elizabeth was a friend of hers that committed suicide in 9th grade.she said that the reason for her committing suicide was cause Diane showed her and the rest of her friends a picture of Elizabeth kissing Mael.they got upset with her cheating on Meliodas,the guy you sit next to.she also said that Elizabeth said she didn't cheat on Meliodas but they wouldn't believe her and after Meliodas broke up with her,they later heard from her sister that she committed suicide.ever since that day,her family just disappeared without a trace" she answered with an explanation
"Elaine told me that Elizabeth was the most sweetest and nicest girl she's ever met.the entire school knew who she was and what kind of person she was and they loved her.some girls were jealous of her looks but other than that,everyone loved her.she dated Meliodas in 8th grade and they were together for 2 years.i just find it weird how Elizabeth was this amazing girl that everyone loved and was suddenly accused of cheating on Meliodas" she explained further
"Diane actually told me that she had a crush on Meliodas since 8th grade but he never had an interest in her and was only focused on Elizabeth.now what bugs me the most was that the whole story of Elizabeth cheating on Meliodas really doesn't make sense" she said
"What do you mean?" I asked,being really curious as to what bugs her about the story
"Diane said that she was in the mall and caught Elizabeth kissing Mael.
Merlin told me that Elizabeth has always been scared of Mael since he always manages to touch her at the right moment and she always pushes him away.suddenly Diane is the first one to expose Elizabeth about the kissing scandal with Mael and even has a picture.her own boyfriend actually thought that Elizabeth would really do something like that to him in the 2 years they've been together.to be honest,that whole story is just complete bullshit to me" she explained
Gelda might be onto something right there
"So,you're saying that you believe Elizabeth is innocent?" I asked
"Of course!" She answered with seriousness in her tone
"I might not know Elizabeth all that well but I believe that she's innocent.
if everyone loved her for how she was,why would she just suddenly decide to cheat on Meliodas if she was happy with him? That story is just bullshit and now Elizabeth can't even rest in peace cause of the shit she had to go through!" She snapped at the last sentence
I'm actually starting to really like Gelda.she believes that I didn't cheat on Meliodas and this is really the kind of friend I need
"So my guess is about why everyone compares you to Elizabeth is cause you look like her.heck the entire class said that your voice sounds similar to hers though your personalities are completely different" she giggled and I just chuckled at her
"Gelda,I know we just met but do you think we can be friends?" I asked
"Don't even ask! I already consider you as my best friend!!" She answered and hugged me with a smile
I smiled and hugged her back.she really is the kind of friend I need.we ended up staying out here for the next 2 periods that went by just talking about what we like and hate and also some other things and even exchanged numbers
"Do you hangout with Diane and the rest of her group?" I asked
"No,never!" She answered
"Diane would force me countless times to hangout with her and in the end,she gives up and leaves me alone.
why would I hangout with people that accused Elizabeth? Especially her own boyfriend" she sighed
