**Rose's POV**
I flew for a while, a million questions going through my mind. Did the Yeti manage to tell Bunnymund that I left? Are they trying to find me now? Where on earth is Jack? And most importantly, what am I supposed to do once I get there?
I've honestly been flying for God knows how long. I'm currently flying over some city. I can't find a hint of where they might be. It's really frustrating. I landed on a rather tall building and sat on the edge. I looked around, searching for a place that looked creepy and dark, but found nothing. My eyes kept roaming until I heard the sound of feet walking behind me. I looked back, but saw nothing.
I lept up and flew to a different building. I sat on the edge of a new taller building. That was incredibly creepy. I could've sworn I heard footsteps behind me. Like someone was sneaking up on me.
"They didn't tell you I hide in the shadows, did they?" said the creepy voice of Pitch Black. I hopped to my feet and tuned around right as he fell back into the shadow. "I guess they also didn't inform you of the consequences that you would face by trying to find us."
"No, I know the consequences. I'm just not afraid of them. Ever heard of the phrase 'love conquers all'?" I replied, never being more scared in my entire life.
"I have heard of it actually. Funny. My mother thought the same when she went to seek out my father. And dear, fear is practically spilling out of you." he said snarkily. He rose back up out of the shadows on a building sitting right next to the one I was on. "Onyx. Capture."
At that moment, a sand-like horse widened it's mouth from behind me and scooped me into it's stomach. The horse was huge and the stomach was made out of what seemed like bars. It flew up and went to Pitch. He went to touch the bars of the horse and I backed away and hit the other side.
"You made a mistake, little spirit. And you will pay for you mistakes." he told me with an evil smile.
He then crawled back to the shadows and Onyx flew up and carried me far outside the city, into a very dark cave in a forest. In the cave was a bed, and underneath the bed was a hole, in which Onyx flew down. Man, if I had been told that Pitch hides under beds, I would've found them in NO time. Onyx landed at the bottom of a very long hole and the side of it's stomach opened, spilling me out on the floor.
"Good girl, Onyx Now go." Spoke Pitch. "Well, Rose. Take a look around at the lair. It'll be your home in no time."
I looked up and glared at him, but glanced around at my surroundings. The room was huge and dark. there were tables and piles of books laying everywhere. There were tree stumps grown into the ground. At the front of the room was a desk-like place with four huge tree stumps by it. It looked like it used to be a library. Why there would be a library buried this deep below surface with trees in it is beyond me.
At the first tree stump was Iris, sporting a new look. Her eyes had turned black and her once colorful hair was now darker and scary. Her pretty blue dress had been torn up and turned gray. The stump next to her was empty, I'm assuming that's Pitch's seat. The spot next to it was a chair facing the wall. Black smoke was emanating from it. That must be the Master. I would have been intrigued as to who the Master is and what he looks like, but then I saw the tree stump next to his.
Sitting on the stump was Jack. The necklace glowed and I guess that means I can no longer fly. It probably only lasted until I was able to find Jack, even though this was not an ideal way of finding him. He was lazily laying on the stump; his feet dangling, his head resting on his left hand, and his right hand holding his blackened staff. He was watching me with now bright yellow eyes. His face read no expression. It wasn't happy to see me, nor sad or mad. In fact, he actually looked kind of bored. His yellow eyes weren't the warm Sandman yellow color. They were like neon and very intimidating. He looked... evil.
