"Fudge." I sighed. Classes start today. I stared out the window on the right side of my bed, imagining how things might go today. Mornings are so much different when you know you have to go to school. My arms gets ready to push myself off the bed, but the rest of my body really don't want to do it. Getting up would only confirm this day to be real. But, I have to, there's no getting out of this.
Might as well not be late.-
The school gate, a small sheltered pathway that leads to a small security room; the school guard, as usual, is just drinking his coffee while not giving a shit about the world around him. I held the handlebars as I made my way to the college building. The school was small. The parking lot? There wasn't one, people with cars or motorcycles park everywhere. Our building was just across the street, opposite to the main pathway when you take 30 steps from the gate.
Asshole.
I thought, as some guy drove past me in horribly fast speed. With no more jackass drivers on sight, I crossed the street slowly like a boss.
Upon reaching the middle of the road...
I see her. Fair skin, bright brown eyes, short hair that only goes down to her neck, and there is something else, I can't put my mind into what that something is."Dumbass! Get off the street!" the guard exclaimed in annoyance. How about get a job where you don't deal with dumbasses like me. I continue to walk towards the building and she is still there on the entrance, standing, I think she's waiting for someone. Talk to her? Hahahaha, as if. As beautiful as she is, there's no way I can blow her away with my awkward stuttering. So... I walk past her.
Now let's see, where's room 242...? The hall is certainly confusing... Is that a--why would you have a classroom next to the dean's office!
I continued to walk forward, looking for the mystical room 242 of the thousand sunsets.
"242...242...242...240...241...242!!"
Found ya, bish.I held the doorknob with my left hand while looking for my admission card on my pocket with my right hand. I turn the knob--
"Excuse me." a voice from behind me.
Without even looking, I could tell it was her. I turned my to see her and "Excuse me, can I pass through?." she says with a smile. My bad.
"My bad." I replied.
"Thanks." she replied. She pulled the door and entered the class while I stayed and hid behind the door.F*ck! F*ck! F*ck! Why didn't you say something!? IMBECILE!
Quickly turning away from the door, I start jumping up and down while holding my nape in disappointment. "Why. Why. Why. Wh--"
"Hey, English 1?" she says, peaking her head out the door.
"English 1?" I replied as I stopped jumping. I let go of my nape "Oh, Yes! English 1, why?" I added."It's starting soon." she says.
"Okay"."My name's Elizabeth."
"John." It's not that I didn't have more to say--I was too ashamed at what she saw me do.
"Come in, John."Well that was embarrassing, I can already tell this is gonna be a long day.
I hate myself.
