Ms. Choi Jung Rin officially began on monday. She hoped with all she had that at least the boys would not try to make things difficult for her.

It was Sunday night and she was looking over the band's schedule and it was packed for the whole week not to mention that they had a concert in a month from then.
Band rehearsals were meant to begin at 8 am to make room for all the other appointments during the day. They had an interview plus a talkshow all scheduled for the same day, Monday.
Ms. Jung Rin had never had a problem keeping or managing time so this wasn't to be a problem for her. With adequate spacing before each event ,she was sure to put breaks and preorder lunch the night before to precent wasting time the following day. She sat at her desk in her fancy hotel room for the next four hours planning and organizing a proper schedule.

The clock struck 11:30 pm and her alarm rang pulling her out of the trance and ruining her concentration. Switching off the alarm, she called the band to make sure there was no room for excuses on the day of.

Finally, it was the first day of her job managing the bangtan boys. Easy to say she was quite excited arriving fifteen minutes before  the rehearsals were supposed to begin. The huge warehouse studio was absolutely stunning, with its own stage, recording studio, gym and a stocked break room.

She was given a small table and chair just for her to set up her laptop somewhere close to the entrance. She didn't worry much about the band since had called them last night individually and asked them to come in before 8 am, hoping they would at least try.

Time flew by quickly as she worked at her laptop so she didn't notice how late it had become that is until producer Kim furiously tapped her on the shoulder.

" Why are you still here?"
She looked up, confused and slightly irritated about how rude he was being.

" I'm sorry... What do you mean?"

" You are supposed to get the boys here on time. Now look it 9:30... Where are they? You are not even taking this job seriously..." Producer Kim went on and on and on yelling at the top of his lungs.
Ms. Jung Rin was more irritated than annoyed, she didn't have any idea that the boys had not yet arrived.
Her expression went cold when just as producer Kim was still blowing, the crew walked in, completely at leisure. The sight of their producer losing his head at their managers was all to normal for them, they had almost grown accustomed to it.

Literally everyone in the building seemed stressed out, the choreographer's time was cut short so they barely got any of the new moves and there was no time left for them to even step into the recording studio.
This system of tardiness dragged on through out the day, everywhere they were supposed to be.
Ms. Jung Rin, a well respected woman in this field spent her entire day, apologizing and making up excuses as they moved from the interview to the talkshow.
She hadn't uttered a single word to them in fear of losing her cool in public, so she waited patiently until they were all back at the bts dorm.

" A word." She demanded, stepping into the huge bts dorm locking the door behind her.
Most of them stopped moving towards their rooms except for RM, Suga and Seok-jin who walked on like they hadn't heard a thing she said.

She smiled but there was anger and mischief shining in her eyes. She let them do as they pleased for now at least. She waited until she heard the last of the doors bang closed. She looked at the remaining members and one could almost see the rage lines rising off the top of her head.

" Sit." Her voice came off stern as she looked like she was ready to give someone a real beating.
The members gathered themselves at the large table in the center of the room, fearing a little for their lives.

" If you are here and you still don't have a watch raise your hand."

Taehyung and Jimin raised their hands even though they were suspicious of the outcome. Ms. Jung Rin reached for her bag and pulled out two small square black boxes that looked exquisite. The watches inside were just divine. The air in the room lightened as the everyone's gasps grew louder. As watches were being slipped on, Jungkook still looked quite a bit anxious. He soon could no longer ignore the hole drilling stare of their new manager.

" Jungkook. Do you have a watch?"

" No.. I... I.. umhm.."

" I.. umhmm You WHAT?"

Jungkook looked at his situation and dreaded every moment of it. He knew he was still a kid but he really hated being treated like one, even more so by the other members.

He looked right back at her and then lowered his gaze in defeat.
" Mian haeyo."

" Mian?.. " She looked at him in confusion, " By the way that's the other thing that I wanted to talk to you about." The air grew still as their manager seemed to be hanging on to the last bits of patience that she had left.

" Let me make this very clear. DON'T YOU EVER speak or even address me casually ever again.. unless you what to have real issues with me. Are we clear on that?"
Ms Jung Rin's eyes searched the room for any single sign of retaliation but there was none to be received. Her gaze fell back on Jungkook.

" You were saying?"

" Joesong hamnida Jung Rin shi"

Delighted by what little effort it took from her side, she gladly took out another of those precious black boxes from her bag handing it to the young gentleman.
Jungkook eyes lit up with delight as he opened his box. Gasps and cheer filled the air once again which only raised the curiosity of the members not present in the room.
Nosiness drawing them out of their burrows, the loud clicks were heard as doors went unlocked and RM and Seokjin slowly slithered into sight.
One look at Ms Jung Rin and they sighed in defeat, realizing that she had been able to draw them out without saying a word to them. Suga came in a little while later.

When all the members were seated at the table, Ms Jung Rin finally spoke again.

" I officially became your manager Thursday last week right?"

" Yeah sure." They answered in unison.

" That means your grace period ends on Thursday."
Everyone's face frowned in uncertainty, what could she possibly mean by that they all thought silently.

" That means, " she continued, " starting Friday, nothing good is going to come from any one of you not doing as I ask."

Eyebrows lifted in frustration, all the members looked at her like she was being completely unreasonable.

" What do you mean by that?" RM asked, still perplexed.

" It means that on Friday I want the lot of you at the studio at 8 sharp. Not a minute after."

" And if we don't then what?" Seok-jin questioned.

" Let's not come to that just yet."

" Well then we can't promise anything."

" DON'T TRY ME." She warned and soon after she left and patiently waited Friday morning.
