I was scared at first. Silence fell across the room as everyone looked at each other until finally the man said" I'm Hogan. John Hogan. I hear you three have been asking about me and a particular charge of mine.". He turned his attention to the guys as they finally lowered their guns." You don't look so powerful." Issac commented with a shrug." Well that just make it all the more shocking should we ever have to, squabble.". Derrek quickly grabbed Issac seeing he was starting to challenge the sorcerer." We just..." Tevin started to say to change subject." I know what it is you want of course. Too bad there's no way to get through this without allot of hurt.". He turned his attention back to Si'yunna saying, " You're wearing the stone of age. Well, that's the blessing your ancestors gave it. They thought the word play on stone would be funny and intriguing to young witches that weren't born through reincarnation.". I giggled a little. That was a corny joke of a name.

"I guess they were right, huh?" He added. I shyly hid my face behind the pillow I was holding." So, you're Bills protector? We been looking everywhere for you dude." Derrek said sitting back in his sit next to Issac, who was already back to eating his dinner." I know. But until now you guys didn't really need me." John replied walking around the small living room." So, what's different now?" Tevin asked still guarding me." Someone has messed up a part of what the original Gods of our beings saw as a collective. Not only changing the predicted wave of your kind but hers and others as well. So, I'm here to warn you guys. "." W-warn us of what?" I asked slowly standing. "." Your father will die in this lifetime. He will die refusing to help the demon you're hiding from. There's no way to change that part. But what you can change is the fate created for you all." Derrek stood walking to him saying," What fate is that?". John just looked at Issac and smiled. No one said anything for a while. Finally, John said" Also, this war is not going to be your biggest threat. For the revelation of the unseen are answers and will be your ticket to a wonderful ride. Hold on to your children. And all close family.". He pulled something out his pocket, smiled and threw it to the floor causing a cloud of smoke to fill the room.

Once the room finally cleared, we noticed he was gone." What the fuck were we just told?" Issac blurted waving the left smoke from his face, coughing. Even I couldn't wrap my head around all this man had said. He didn't even give us time to ask any questions. What did any of that really mean." I've always sucked at riddles." I spoke sadly slouching down in my chair." How can a war not be our biggest threat?" Derrek asked sitting down next to me." He just dropped allot on us dude. Sy, are you okay?" Issac asked also running to my side, but Tevin stopped him. I nodded as Derrek rubbed my leg." What have you been seeing Ice?" Tevin asked with a growl in his voice." Now you want to ask the seer of the group what I been seeing? Well, he just told you. Go figure out the puzzle." Issac retorted pushing past him." Wait, Issac, y-you knew my father would die?" I asked as tears fell from my eyes. I had just realized what I'd been told only moments ago." Of course not. Babygirl, I would've told you if I'd seen anything that pertains you, the kids, or your father. All I've seen is that something has changed, and the war is no longer going to happen. Now I don't know what or when. But I know really soon you'll be free. We all will."

I sniffled and stood to get a tissue, but Tevin had already grabbed it." You had to see something that tells us exactly what changed. He looked at you like you were the scared black kid on the bus, and he was Jeepers Creepers." Derrek spoke stroking my hair." I wanted to see how it played out. We all know how Tevin been about her. He wasn't gonna let me tell him he was gonna lose her, vision or not. Definitely not hearing that from his own brother. So, I didn't flip because he was sleeping with Kandi, it didn't matter, because I already knew he would. Just like I knew they were gonna attack in the field cause Kandi was still linked to him somehow. I couldn't kill her at first. But I didn't know about the link until after I let her go.".
