Chapter 10:

Derrek's P.O.V.
I was sitting in the room watching Si'yunna. We decided to all take turns watching her. She looked so peaceful laying there. I stood and walked to her bedside. I brushed some stray hairs from her face and she slowly woke up.
"What happened?" She breathlessly asked." Welcome back ladybug. You passed out." I said. She blinked a couple times and looked around. Her eyes stopped on the blood bag and i.v in her arm." Why is this in me?". She asked as she slowly sat up." I'm gonna go get Tevin. I'm sure you're hungry. So I'll be back with some food." I said and left.
"She's up bro." I said walking in the kitchen fixing her a plate." How she doing?" He said standing." Asking questions. Look bruh. I know you been trying to avoid this. But you gotta tell her." I responded. I looked around and realized that him and Kandi was the only ones in the kitchen.
"Where Issac and Zell at?" I asked. Tevin looked at Kandi and Kandi looked at the ground." I umm.... I sent them to the store." Tevin said clearing his throat." Hmm. Well you should come to see your girl soon. I'm finna go feed her." I said walking out." Tell her I'll be up in a minute.". I nodded and went back to the bedroom.
"Hey lady. Brought you some food." I said walking in." My arms feel heavy." She said." Don't worry. I got chu ma."." Where's Tevin?"." Umm... He said he'll be up in a few. Now you need to eat.". I fed her the food little by little.
"What all do you remember?" I asked." I remember cooking and having these stomach pains. I remember umm.... You. You kissed me. Then I passed out. That's all." She replied." Before my brother comes up here I need to ask you something.". I sat down the plate and took her hands.
"Do you know who you are? Who you come from?" I asked looking her in her eyes." No. I mean. My dad used to tell me these stories of my mom being some kind of witch goddess. He said that when I was born I was enchanted with her beauty. And that no man could resist me when I got older. But it was just a story he'd tell me to make me feel better.".
"Hmm. What do you know about your mother?"." That she was killed in an accident. I know that she had me at 20. And my dad was her first love. But that's really it."." Okay. Tevin should be up soon."." Where's Lilian? I wanna see her.".
She looked at the door and smiled. I looked and seen Tevin come in." Hey babe. How you feeling?" He said walking to us." Hii. I'm better."." That's good.". I stood and got the plate of left over food." I'll leave you two alone." I said. I kissed Si'yunna forehead and left.

Tevin's P.O.V
She looked so sick laying in the bed. I sat next to her and grabbed her hand." Look Sy. There's something I need to tell you but I don't want you to freak out." I said." What is it?" She said." You remember how my eyes change colors but it always have red?". She nodded.
I looked at her. She looked so scared of what I was about to say. And she should be. I had to ease her into the news." Umm.... Babe.... I love you. And what I'm bout to tell you is huge. I know you will hate me. But I have to tell you.".
I stood and faced away from her. I let my fangs out and my demon show." I know you hate supernatural things. But I'm a vampire.". I turned and she screamed. She ripped the i.v out her arm and jumped out the bed.
"Stay away from me!" She yelled backing away from me." Sy. Please calm down. Its alright." I said trying to console her." No. Stay back." She said backing to the wall." Okay. Okay. I'll stay back.". I switched my face back and I stepped back." I wanna go. I wanna go now." She said. She was terrified. I saw it in her eyes." Where's my baby? What did you do to her?"." Lilly is fine. She in her room napping. Please let me explain.". She shook her head and started walking along the wall watching me.
"Don't come near me." She said climbing over the bed. I then knew she was heading for the door." Si'yunna. Hear me out please." I said. She opened the door and ran out. I went to the hall and seen her run in Lilly room.
I was growing angry. As she walked out the room I grabbed her arm. She snatched away and ran downstairs with Lilly in her arms." Leave me alone." She said going to the door." Don't let her out." I said. My guard stood in front of the door." Now I'm trying to be patient with you Sy. Now you're pissing me off." I said with growl grabbing her arm.

Lenzell P.O.V.
I heard Si'yunna yell and I knew that Tevin had showed his true self. After awhile I heard them come down. I walked to the front door and waited.
"I tried to be patient with you Sy. Now you're pissing me off." Tevin said grabbing her arm." Tevin. Chill." I said walking up to them. Si'yunna backed into a corner holding her sleeping child close.
"Are you one too?" She said looking at me. I could tell she was scared." Its alright Sy. No one is gonna hurt you." I said slowly walking to her." Answer my question."." Yes I am. But we were born not bitten.". She looked at me with curious eyes." If you calm down and let me, I will explain it all to you." I said holding out my hand.
She looked at me then at Tevin." Please, let one of us explain it." Tevin pleaded." I want to go." She said." You cant leave." He responded." What? Why? Why can't I leave?"." Will you just please let us explain?" I asked. She looked at me and nodded saying" Okay. I'll go. But don't touch me."." Okay I promise. No one will touch you." I said stepping back.
We went to Tevin's office and we all sat down." Before we do anything just know that we never want to hurt you. We won't hurt you." I said." Just tell me what's going on." She said. I looked at Tevin." You do it. She hasn't seen your demon form yet." He said." That's true. But only you can tell your story." I responded. He dropped his head and started telling his story. At least what he knew of it.
"Well as you know vampires are a myth. Originally." He said looking at Sy. She nodded." Well we're real. And there's several kinds but, two types I guess. Night crawlers and day walkers. I'm obviously a day walker and though its rare a vampire can be born.".
"What's the difference between being born and bitten? You're still a blood sucking monster." Si'yunna said." That's the difference. If you're born you don't really have to drink blood. Unless your born by two vampires. But I never heard of that happening." I said." And we are born." Tevin continued.
After we explained everything to her we sat in silence. Letting her take it all in." Then why tell me now? You could have never told me and I would've been completely happy with that." She said we just laughed." First of all just know that what I'm bout to tell you doesn't necessarily mean you will die." Tevin said standing up.
She looked at him alarmed." I'm gonna die." She asked almost screaming." Not necessarily.". Tevin took in a deep breath." Si'yunna you're pregnant. And the only way for you to survive the birth is to be turnt." I rushed out seeing how hard it was for Tev to say. She jumped up waking Lilly." There's no way in hell I'm being turnt into some animal! I will die before I have to kill another to live!" She yelled.
"Then you will die. But either way it go, you can't leave here till my baby is out of you." Tevin said and left. Si'yunna sat down and cried." I want to go home. Please. Just let me go home." She said looking at me with tearful eyes." I'm sorry Sy. But we can't take that risk with you being pregnant. I'm sorry." I said and walked out.
