Chapter 15

Renard told the others that he was going back to see if he can find some Rope or a way to get to them.
Renard had been riding and Alternating between Trotting and walking. After he'd covered about thirty miles he came to the edge of a very large Crater, Renard realised how close they came to being wiped out.
He looked around and to his right he noticed a small trail leading down so decided to follow it hoping it would lead to Jenny and Amy. Renard had no Idea how bad Amy's broken leg was, if there was no pulse in her Ankle she'd lose her leg.
He pushed Zephyr a little harder to get there as soon as possible if he was on the correct path. The Sun was starting to rise but there was so much Smoke and Debris in the air it was like a fog.
After a few hours he saw some smoke rising into the air from a small fire, as Renard came round the corner he saw the Girls on the opposite side of the Ravine. Amy was laying down near the fire even though it was hot he reckoned Amy was still in shock.

Ty was up early and tried Amy's phone again but there was nothing, no signal .
Jack was already up and had the TV on the News Channel.
"Morning Jack, I tried Amy's phone but nothing".
"Morning Ty, the've said on the news that most of the Southern area has no Mobile Masts left working so you won't get a signal".
"Dam it".
"Hang on Ty something happened during the night. The United Kingdom and France have offered assistance, so did Russia and China but the've cancelled the help they offered because,,, Jeez Ty, they've been hit as well , Two Meteorites hit Russia and three hit China".
"I thought they were tracking these things Jack".
"Not these ones, there classed as unimportant, there not that big".
"Not that big Jack, don't they normally burn up in the Atmosphere ".
"The scientists are saying that there's too much Iron in them so as the rock burnt up it melted the Iron creating a Giant bloody Ball Bearing".

Los Angeles.

"JENNY, AMY, you doing okay".
"Renard, thank god your here".
"Let's take a look at Amy's leg, is she doing okay".
"She seems to be, but keeps drifting in n out of consciousness, I don't know if she hit her head before or on her way down the ravine, I think her legs  a clean break Renard, her Pulse in her Ankle is strong and she has a pink foot and toe's".
"Well that's a good sign  when you were both sliding down did you happen to see how it happened ".
"No, but Amy managed to say there was a big boulder sticking up, she tried to move herself round it but then the rumbling and Shaking started again ,then she hit it".
"I found some 1" inch branches and a strong bandage from the First Aid Box so let's get her leg Splinted while she's unconscious.
"Do you have a signal on your phone at all Renard ".
"No, I doubt if there's any mobile system working down here, we need to get to a Town or small city further north to get help".

It took some Time for Renard and Jenny to get back the way Renard came to them. Amy was on Zephyr,  they got him to lay down while they put Amy on top.
It was night time the following day when they got back to their Camp ground.
One of the young women took a tumble during the last hit on the San Andreas Fault Line and hit her head cutting it open on her hairline,  thankfully one of the crew was a medic in the Army before joining Dark Horse so Stitched her up and covered it with iodine.
When they heard the horse and Renard's well known voice they cheered, and even more when they saw Jenny walking and Amy still slumped on the horse.
"Renard, what's wrong with Amy".
"I'm not sure Anne, your the Medic can I leave her in your hands please as you know what your doing, her Tibia is Broken and I've set it and put a splint on it, whether she's hit her head I don't know ".
" I'll watch her tonight Renard and see how she is in the morning ".
