Chapter 6

I managed to walk up to the house, open the door, up the stairs, down the hallway and into Cat's room.

She looked over at me and just by how I was standing and the tears in my eyes she knew exactly what had happened.I grabbed my stomach as I got the sickest feeling I had ever felt, and covered my mouth with my other and fell to the ground.

"Awww babe" said Cat crawling over to me and wrapping her arms around me

"Why did I have to fuck up so bad" I said crying into her collar bones

"I know I know babe I can relate I mean look at the state I'm in" she said, I could hear a crack in her voice

"Far out, what is wrong with me I'm here crying to you about me braking up with your brother while you have way bigger things going on" I said pulling away wiping away my tears

"Don't worry about me, just tell me what happened" she said rubbing my back

After I told her the story, I decided to go back to sleep and had the day off.

I woke up to no one next to me at 1:15 in the arvo so I decided to get up after I checked my phone. When I picked up my phone I saw that I had a message, to my surprise it was from Justin.

Justin: Hey I noticed you weren't at school today, umm I kind of need to talk to you

Shit what do I say?

Do I even reply?

Damit what do I do?

I decided to leave it and not reply.

I got up and out of bed a walked down the hall way to find no one so I headed down stairs and again no one, where is everyone?

I know Noah is at school and Steve at work, but where is Cat and Lydia Cats mum?

I could hear my phone start to ring upstairs so I ran up and saw it was Cat ringing me

"Hello" I said putting the phone to my ear

"Ahhh your awake" she said with a giggle

"Yes I am, where are you?" I asked confused

"Oh I'm just out" she said mysterious

"Out where? I woke up scared where is your mum?"

"Don't worry I'm only finishing up last minute groceries for mum and as for her, Doctors appointment" she said giggling

"Oh ok so you just left me here?"

"Well yeah? You were sound asleep so I left you"

"Ok well when are you going to be home?" I asked

"About ten or so minutes"

"Ok because I need a drive" I said with a sigh "And so do you"

"Took the words right out of my mouth
" She said cheerful

"Ok, I'm going to find something to eat"

"Alright see you soon" she said hanging up the phone

"Bye"

I put the phone down on the counter and opened the cupboard, I found a granola bar and then went to the fridge to get milk.

Cat and I go on out of the blue drives all the time when we just need to clear our heads, this is where now us both having our P's we just jump in one of our cars and just drive, once we got lost and had both of our dads out looking for us but we ended up home safe and sound.

Time went by and I heard the skyline pull into the drive way, the skyline is Cats car and holy shit it's a nice car, it's a light sky blue with some pretty kick ass rims...and she wonders why I always steel her car?... really fast cars suit Cat to the max.

"I'm home" I could hear cat yelling out to me from the front door

"Kitchen" I yelled back

" Heyyy" she said dropping shopping bags on the floor

"Hey" I said looking in them

"Who's car ?" Said Cat starting to unpack the bags

"Mine! I just want music blasting and the wind in my hair" I said helping Cat

Once we finished unpacking the bags I ran to Cats room and grabbed my keys and we left.

My car on the other hand is a little more classic and old school, it's a light teal mustang convertible with really nice rims, the inside I redid a little so I could have my speakers in there but it's still mainly the same original light brown leather seats and the wooden dash and steering wheel,my car is my baby and was a 16th birthday present form dad for when I first got my L's (learners permit) and if anyone does anything to her I will cut there head off.

"We jumped in, music blasting and just drove, we drove and drove just singing and forgetting about everything for while.

We went out past the lake, past mountains and just followed the highway.

"So is there anywhere you want to really go?" I asked Cat

"To the stars"
