You and Nubbins had just got back for dinner. Almost immediately, Bubba rushed up to hug you. You giggled and held your arms out to him, earning you happy babbles and squeals. Nubbins ran off to do god knows what, and you pulled out a little towel.
His eyes widened with curiosity as he poked it gently. You unwrapped the towels, revealing a tiny puppy. He squealed, both with happiness and worry for the small thing. You smiled gently.
"We can raise 'em, can't we Bubba?" You asked softly, quiet enough that Drayton wouldnt hear you.
You knew he'd say no immediately and tell you to throw the damn thing out. You weren't gonna let him. You and Bubba were gonna raise this puppy.
And who knows, you might get a useful help in killing people.
