The Day Things Went Down Hill

I woke up the next morning and shook Wilbur awake. "WILBUR GET UP THE ALARM DIDNT GO OFF WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE FOR THE SPEECHES!" I screamed. "OH SHIT!" I had never seen him move so fast. He got changed at the speed of light and left. I got up slower then him. I didn't need to be there, but I knew that he need me to hold his hand and stand by his side. I got changed and walked out into the golden sunshine and toward the stage where they were testing the mics. I stood beside Wilbur. "How many people are running? For president?" I asked. "Well, there's me, you, Tommy, Tubbo, and Echo in POG2020. Quackity in SWAG2020.." "Just like I predicted." Echo said to Juniper who was helping Echo straighten her L'manberg uniform, that we were all wearing. "Um Fundy and Niki are running together. And uh Schlatt." "Of course that fucking dickhead is here." Echo said. "Echo and Tubbo's fathers running?!" I asked. Wilbur nodded. Echo rolled her eyes. "Tubbo! Daaads here." She said obviously annoyed. Schlatt came out of no where. "Ah! There's my children. I've been looking everywhere for you Tubbo for the 17 years! And Echo! You just manage to get away didn't you little one!" Schlatt smiled. A very forced smile none the less. "I ran away because you were a horrible father. No no. You were a SHIT father. Always getting drunk and taking your anger out on me and I know you did it to Tubbo too. I've never fucking hated someone as much as I hate you Schlatt." Echo replied glaring at him. Then she smiled. "If I could kill you, I would. But it's frowned upon in all the nations." And then she left him staring after her. And then she turned around to face him again. "You know what. I do illegal things all the time. I'd sleep with one eye open..dad." She walked back on the stage and with us and put on a smile. "Ok! Welcome to the 2020 l'manberg election!" People from the SMP, Las Nevadas, L'manberg, and Kinoko Kingdom cheered and clapped. "We have the parties! POG2020! Consisting of The running president Wilbur Soot, his close friends Dreamly, Tommy, Tubbo, and Echo. Then there is SWAG2020 that consists of Quackity and Charlie Slimecycle. Then there are two parties that have not been named. The first consisting of Fundy and Niki. And the second with Schlatt. Fundy and Niki you may speak first."

Fundy stepped up to his microphone. Wilbur stared at his son with so much hate. He didn't say it, but his eyes told everyone that at this moment, he despised his son. "Hello people of the nations. I, am Fundy, and my running Vice President is Niki Nihachu, who owns the bakery down by the ocean." Fundy said. "Hi!" Niki spoke into the mic. "Neither of us are rich or have or powerful like the other parties. But that makes us relatable. You see, we don't have power, we aren't intimidating. We are just like all of you. And being your president and Vice President wouldn't change that. We care for our people so much for our people and will do anything to make the country safe for everyone. Thank you." Fundy stepped away from the mic and smiled as everyone clapped. "Schlatt you may go next." You heard the click of his boots as he approached the mic. "Hello. I'm Schlatt. And I haven't really been to L'manberg since is was created, but I know. That I will take care of the people. I, have two children, who were raised in L'manberg. By a man named Philza. I am forever grateful for him raising my children when I couldn't, but I'm back now, and I want to run their country for them, for them to keep their home, my son Tubbo, and my daughter Echo, stand on this stage but instead on their fathers side, they are on Wilbur's. But It doesn't bother me, all I want is for them to be happy because I love them so much."

Schlatt's words were smooth but all lies. And Echo was thinking the same thing. "LIAR! LIAR LIAR LIAR!" Echo ran at Schlatt. It took Wilbur, me, Tubbo, and Tommy to hold her back from attacking him. I searched the crowd and spotted who I was looking for. "TECHNO! HELP!" I yelled and the pink haired boy came running. "Grab Echo and take her away from here." I told him. He picked up the small girl and carried her away, while she kicked and screamed. But no matter how much she kicked him he still had no reaction. I watched until they were out of sight. "Wilbur Soot your speech?" Wilbur stepped up to the mic. "Hello. I'm Wilbur Soot. And if you asked me the specific question what do you think is best for this country. I can't speak for the other parties, but I want what's best for the country I created. The people here came for freedom from the over powerful nation leaders *cough* Dream. And I intend on keeping my promise to them. If I am voted for president. I will make sure the freedom of L'manberg will be around forever. Thank you." I nodded at him as he stepped away. "Quackity?" "Wilbur is full of shit. You can't have a stable country with out a proper democracy. I will run the country with respect and dignity just as a president should. The thing I have that my competitors don't is I have a multi million dollar nation founded by me. I have the money to take care of L'manberg. Properly." He was about to continue before a girls voice echoed around. "YOU DONT WANT A MURDERER FOR PRESIDENT! QUACKITY KILLED ERET!" Echo pointed a finger at Quackity. Well shit. This is going to be one hell of a ride.
