I do not own RWBY or Batman.

"Now, remember," Tee said, "these viewings are of other universes. So you'll definitely see a lot of things that are different from your world."

"People, places, and events that are different from what you know," added Dee. "Basically, prepare for the unexpected. This is the multiverse, so anything and everything is possible."

"So when you say that, what exactly do y-" Maria had her question cut off by Dee.

"EV-ERY-THIIING!!!"

That shut everyone up. "O-kay... Let's begin, shall we?" Tee gestured to the screen.

The first thing everyone heard was what sounded like tearing fabric. The sound came again. Finally, the black screen changed to show the inside of a house. A man wearing a green coat, gloves, and a mask that covered his entire head with glasses on top was kneeling over another man's body. The masked man pulled more tape off of the roll he held, and then the screen cut to black again.

The screen quickly showed the masked man ripping off the piece of tape he pulled from the roll before cutting back to black. A strained exhale was heard while the screen faded to show the dead man sitting in a chair. His head was wrapped in duct tape, and "NO MORE LIES" was written over his face in red letters.

Yang turned around in her seat to look at Tee. "I thought you said you weren't going to show us horror?"

"First of all, I said 'spooky', not horror," Tee retorted. "And B: I'm not. This is just part of the world."

With the first thing appearing onscreen being a presumed murder, this did not bode well for this Universe. No one was okay with what was happening. Saphron and Terra were civilians, and while it was nothing they hadn't seen in movies, it was disturbing to know this was a reality. Even the huntsmen were unnerved. They were used to dealing with Grimm. Occasionally they would police the people, but this was clearly a serial killer. They killed monsters. These matters were dealt with by actual police.

The image brought up terror from the idea of dying from suffocation. It would be suffering for the most part.

A hallway that looked like it was in the same home was shown, filled with police officers. One man was walking down the hall, while everyone else made way for him. However, no one was looking at him. Instead, their attention was on whatever was behind him. None of them seemed too happy at what they were looking at. A guitar started strumming.

The police did get their curiosity. "What are they looking at?" Harriet asked. Marrow and Elm shook their heads and shrugged.

"And why is there music?" Willow asked.

"Hmm mm," Dee shrugged. "It's part of the preview."

A voice began speaking. "'From your secret friend'."

Ruby, Yang, and Qrow were taken aback by the new speaker's voice. "DAD/TAI?!" they yelled.

Nora turned to the sisters of RWBY. "Your dad's in this?"

"Apparently he is," replied Yang.

"Tai as a cop, huh?" Qrow pondered.

Underneath the bridge

The police were moving around the crime scene to collect evidence.

"'Who?'" Tai's voice continued as he was shown looking around the room with a flashlight in hand.
