Written by: Lara SOKEEFE4EVA2021 Since Halloween is coming up, I decided to write this. Enjoy!

Sophie instantly regretted introducing the spooky holiday to everyone. Especially Dex. He was firing away with his gadgets and hiding fake spiders and pop up ghosts in everyone's bedroom. He even hacked Biana's registry pendant so that whenever she was somewhere she wasn't meant to be, an eerie sound would play and make her light leap away. Keefe was acting surprisingly well about it, though.

"Foster? Fosterrrrr, snap out of it!" Keefe whined, waving his hand in front of Sophie's face.

"Hmm? What Keefe?" Sophie shook her head.

"First - you zoned out on me. Second - do we absolutely have to watch the creepy human 'movie' Dex picked out. I watched the thing called the 'trailer' and it creeped me out. The boy in the yellow raincoat is very dumb," Keefe muttered. Just then, a knock came from the door and Dex walked in. Keefe cowered behind Sophie, wrapping his arms around her waist. Sophie blushed at the touch and Dex gave her a knowing look, causing the girl to blush even more. She instinctively leaned back into Keefe's arms - wait, what? INSTINCTIVELY? Sophie felt Keefe tense then press his face into her hair. Dex was still standing there, staring like a creepy stalker.

"Uh, guys," he said, making Keefe's head snap up to reveal a slightly pink face. "Are you going to come down to watch It? I managed to change the subtitles to the Enlightened Language."

"Uh, yeah. We'll be down in a minute," Sophie said. Once Dex left the room, she made sure to lock the door. The blonde girl turned to find Keefe playing with the end of his sleeves and wouldn't meet her eyes. Once Sophie saw his ice-blue irises, she smiled gratefully. Even though she shouldn't have, she opened her mind to his thoughts.

Should I tell her? Ugh. She probably won't feel the same way. But I love her so much, I can't keep this hidden for my whole life.

(Ok, guys. The kissing scene coming up may be awkward to you, so just a heads up. Please don't show any hate towards my writing because it puts me down a lot.)

Sophie stepped forward and grabbed Keefe's hands, forcing him to look her in the eyes. Keefe didn't know what to do, so he focused on her emotions. He felt sadness, pain, worry, joy, and something else. Something he hadn't felt for a while. It was love. In the middle of his thoughts, Sophie pressed her lips to Keefe's. Sparks flew, fireworks erupted. This is what love felt like. Keefe wrapped his arms around her waist and pressed himself against her. He opened his mouth slightly and deepened the kiss. (I'm getting goosebumps writing this) Keefe ran his tongue over Sophie's bottom lip and she parted her lips. Her hands shakily went up to his surprisingly soft and very well-conditioned hair. Keefe shuddered at the movement but tangled his hand in her soft hair. Keefe bit Sophie's lip, gently, but still hard enough to get a reaction. Sophie moaned and pressed herself harder against Keefe.

"I love you," Keefe mumbled into her mouth.

"I love you, too," Sophie muttered back. Alas, love needs air. They parted from each other, panting with red faces.

"You don't know how much I've wanted to do that," Keefe whispered, lightly touching his lips as if he couldn't believe it. But he couldn't! The girl of his dreams (very cheesy) just kissed him. How could he know if it was a dream or not? Well, the girl that pushed him over to her bed made it very clear that it wasn't a dream. Sophie wrapped her arms around Keefe, gently sobbing into his shoulder.

"What's wrong?" he asked, sincere worry coating his words.

"Nothing. I just - I wish I knew how wrong everything was with Fitz. If I did know, so many things could be different with the Neverseen and Foxfire and -" Sophie was cut off by Keefe kissing her. Not like the last kiss, this time more gentle and loving. He pulled back, looking Sophie in the eyes.

"Shhh," he whispered. "Don't blame yourself. I couldn't live if you shattered. And look at us now, we finally made it here. Better late than never, right?" Keefe said, automatically remembering the human saying. Sophie nodded her head and slowly crawled out of his arms. Keefe frowned, missing the warmth of her hug.

"Come on, we need to head downstairs before Biana tells stories," she motioned for him to get up.

"There's no need because I'm right here," Biana said proudly, clapping her hands twice to make the room darken as she paced around. "So you see, Dex wanted to prank you and had me turn invisible and stay in your room to play the prank. But when I saw what was happening, I decided that this was better. So now, Sophie and Keefe, you either don't deny it, or I tell everyone what I saw." Wow. This girl is sassy for someone so pretty.

"Ok, we don't deny it," Sophie said, cautiously holding her hand out. Biana slapped it away.

"Wait, Biana! Don't tell anyone, we want to see how long it'll take for them to find out," Keefe shot up from his seat on the bed. Biana seemed to consider this, then clapped her hands to lighten the room.

"Ok, but how - oh! We could just say that I couldn't stay invisible for long enough and the plan backfired," she exclaimed. Sophie chuckled and they all headed downstairs.

"Oh for Eternalia's sake, Keefe. IT'S JUST A MOVIE!" Sophie yelled at the blond boy cowering behind her and a whole lot of pillows. Keefe whimpered and curled into a little ball. Everyone else was leaning forward, wondering what was going to happen next.

"See, Keefe. Everyone else is - wait what? How are you guys watching all this blood, aren't we elves?" Sophie asked. Of course, she received no answers. Their eyes were glued to the screen, literally for Dex and Marella. They were sitting right in front of the TV Dex had brought from Rimeshire.

"DEX! MARELLA! MOVE!" Tiana yelled whilst throwing pillows. Yes, Sophie shipped them. Payback to Biana. Once the movie ended, they decided to have a sleepover.

~~~~~~~
Keefe woke up from a nightmare, panting and sweating. He relaxed when he saw Sophie, his now girlfriend, clutching his shirt and snuggling up to him. Keefe softly smiled and wrapped his arms around her, feeling her curl into a ball and move against him. She gently smiled in her sleep, making butterflies flitter through Keefe's stomach. He gently looked up to find Biana and Tam in that same position. Something new to tease Bangs Boy with. Laying back down, Keefe kissed Sophie's forehead and slipped into his slumber.
Best Halloween ever.
A/N I hope you enjoyed this one-shot guys! I certainly enjoyed writing it. I have nothing more to say so -
