Hi again, this is Lara. 1maginator-m5 This is just a one-shot I thought of when I was reading Sencen_2_Foster 's one-shot 'Drown'. It made me sad, so I'm doing this as Keefe having to go to college in London, and Sophie is the breaking one. Please, don't kill me. It'll make you cry, especially you, Christine.

"I'll come back for you, I promise." Those were the words Keefe said before his parents shipped him off to London. But college wouldn't end for another four years. Sophie had to hold on to that hope, that tiny flicker of hope, that her boyfriend would come back for her.

"I miss you," Sophie whispered into the darkness as she snuggled up in the pillows, drifting to sleep. (I miss you, more than I thought that I could. I know you missing me too, like you should...)

~~~~~
Sophie woke up late at night, trying to fall back to sleep. It was hopeless. She sleepily trudged to the bathroom, splashing water onto her face. Instead of getting a drink or something, she reached into her closet. Sophie wrapped her jacket around herself and slowly walked down the stairs. She opened the front door, the moon illuminating the night. The lamps flickered on and off, being really annoying.
Sophie walked on the footpath, heading towards the park where her and Keefe would always play when they were little kids. There, she found the silhouette of a boy around her age, sitting on the park bench, head in hands. She walked over to him, trying to get a clearer look of his face. The boy lifted his head to the sky, and Sophie gasped. There, in the mercy of the night, was Keefe Sencen. She let out a strangled sob, trying not to surprise him. Keefe turned, his cold ice-blue eyes locking on Sophie. He gasped, tears welling in his eyes. Sophie was frozen in place, not trusting herself to think of this as reality. Keefe made the first move, striding over to Sophie.
His hands locked onto her hips, pulling her close to him. Sophie leant into his warmth, tears staining his dark clothes. She pulled back, getting a better look at him.
"You're really here?" she whispered.
"I am," he replied.
Sophie lurched forward, capturing his mouth in his. They stayed kissing like that for days, minutes, hours. She couldn't tell. Then, Keefe pulled back abruptly.
"I'm sorry I couldn't stop them," he whispered.
"No, you're here now. That's all that matters," Sophie said.
"I'm sorry."
A searing light flashed in the sky, blinding Sophie. She screamed Keefe's name, but the same reply echoed, "I'm sorry."
~~~~~

Sophie woke up to her alarm beeping from her phone. She recalled her dream, tears welling in her eyes.

BEEP!

Keefe was gone. He wasn't here anymore. And it would be so long until he came back.

BEEP! BEEP!

Life wasn't worth it.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

"CAN YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Sophie yelled.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

"AAAARRGGHH!!!!" she grabbed her phone and threw it across the room, glass shattering on the wall.

"HE'S GONE! THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT! SO JUST SHUT UP! I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF HE'S ALIVE! HIS PHONE ISN'T WORKING!! NOTHING IS WORKING!"

"Sophie!" Edaline called from outside. But no, Sophie kept going.

"LIFE ISN'T WORTH IT! NOT AT ALL!" she grabbed her vase and shattered it on the floor.

"It isn't," she sobbed as she grabbed a shard of glass.

"It isn't," Sophie repeated, slamming the glass into her ribs. Red stained the carpet as she crumpled to the floor, blackness slowly overtaking her.

"I'm sorry," she whispered as everything turned dark.

Please, don't kill me. I was crying just writing this. I also have no idea what I'm going to next so I'm on the same cliff-hanger as you. I hope you enjoyed it. Sorry.
