Author Commentary: This was gonna also be Charlibeth, surprise surprise, but I didn't end up getting that far. Also, "kid sneaks into freddy's and befriends the animatronics" was one of my favorite genres of FNaF fics at the time. Also damn I really just stopped in the middle of a sentence didn't I lmao

oOo

Em wiped tears from her eyes as she pried the cover off of the outside ventilation shaft leading into the new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza that had opened earlier that month. It was a tight fit, but she managed to crawl through, landing in what she assumed to be one of the party rooms. She could faintly hear her uncle screaming for her to get back out there, but she wouldn't listen. She wasn't going back with him ever again.

She blinked, her eyes adjusting to the darkness as she stumbled through the room, finding the exit. When she stepped through the door frame, she seemed to be in the main room, considering the tables and stage with motionless animatronics. As she cautiously began to walk forward, one of the animatronics' head snapped up to look at her. She barely held back a scream as it stared her down, seeming to soften once it really got a good look at her.

It was a black bear, with a red top hat and bowtie and a big yellow star on its stomach. One of its eyes was missing as well, though a glowing white dot in the socket seemed to substitute for it. She tensed up as it stepped off the stage, slowly lumbering in her direction. It was much taller than her, several feet, in fact. Once it got to her, it slowly kneeled down to her height, its joints creaking softly.

"Hello there." It said, it's voice barely more than a whisper, presumably not to scare her. "How did you manage to get in here so late?"

Ignoring how a simple entertainment robot shouldn't be able to interact with people like this, she sniffed and responded. "Through the vents."

The bear nodded, tilting its head to the side. "How come? I doubt it was to steal, it's mostly teenagers doing that."

Em shook her head, wiping away the remaining tears. "I-I'm not here to steal, I'm here to hide."

This seemed to intrigue the bear, as it's eyebrows raised at that (somehow). "Who are you hiding from?"

"My uncle..." She muttered, playing with the hem of her shirt.

There was a small period of silence, before suddenly the bear picked her up, cradling her in one arm. She yelped, before immediately clamping her mouth shut for fear of being heard.

"Did I scare you? My apologies." It said in a slightly louder tone than the hushed whisper from before. Em was slightly shocked to hear the voice of a small girl, maybe even younger than her, coming out of this seemingly male animatronic. "I was just thinking that, if you're hiding from your uncle, you might not want to be out in the open." It (she?) walked as it (yeah, she.) spoke, pausing just before a metal door with "employees only" on it. "My friend is in here. She's pretty run down, so they just kinda keep her in here. No one really goes in this room anymore, so it's a pretty good place to hide. The catch is, that because she's so run down, Lizzie can be...intimidating. But don't worry, she looks pretty scary, but she won't hurt you. I promise."

Em nodded, bracing herself for what was in this room, as her bear friend opened the door.

What was inside could only be described as horrifying. It was another animatronic, seemingly modeled after a human, but she was so tarnished and broken it was almost impossible to tell. In the place of one hand was a humongous claw that could easily snap someone in two. Its eyes
