"Why do bad things happen to me..."

"..."

"God why have you forsaken your child. Didn't you say you will never forsake your children... why??"

"When you took ma and pa away from me I didn't say anything because I knew death is also part of life. I had to struggle day and night to take care of grandma's medicines. You let Yibo in my life then you let him leave me still I don't complain. You took grandma, the only family that I had two years ago yet I never cried...but.... but today you took the only possession that called me family..."

"A-Zhan..." a voice in the background could be heard but the said man has locked himself in the pool of laments.

"God.... aren't you cruel to your own children? Don't I deserve to be happy in this life. What sin did I ever commit to in my past life to face this cruel gruesome fate..."

Xiao Zhan was curled in a ball on the floor in his apartment while his friends were surrounding him feeling pity.

"God you took my Luo'er away from me..."

It been fifteen days since the disappearence of Luo'er but nobody seems to know where they took him.

The moment Xiao Zhan was arrested he had informed his friends through a phone call and he told them what happened. It didn't even take seventy two hours they were all here supporting him within a span of two days they managed to give proof that Luo'er is really Xiao Zhan's child.

The police really felt ashamed because they didn't check if the tip they got is valid or fake. Yesterday they called that they could not find the whereabouts of Luo'er and they cannot continue to waste the resources of finding a child which seemed to disappeared in a thin air with no traces.

'PLAK!!!' A slap echoed through the apartment causing silence once and for all.

"Snap out of it Zhan... why are you sitting here wipping. Do you think lamenting here will bring back Luo'er...? I mean what happened to the great Xiao Zhan we knew in college...?" Wen Qing scolded Zhan after she slapped.

"Right right right... Qing-jie jie is right Xiao Zhan, weeping won't bring Luo'er back, right now we have to think of a way to find him. I mean we don't know what kind of person who abducted Luo'er and we don't know his intentions as well..." Wen Ning supported.

"Hey... guys I think I recalled something...I know it may be impossible but it possible as well. Is it possible that person regained may have recovered his memories and..."  Xiao Xingchen says as he was immensed in his thoughts not realising he jad blurted his thoughts out.

Xiao Zhan had been quiet all along suddenly stood up as if something stings him on the floor only sputtering words with venom.

"I will kill you." His eyes had a tint of green if you were to look at him up closely his knuckles tuened white before he dropped on the floor and collapsed straight away.

His friends noticed ring as it was glowing in green.

"Is it normal for a ring to glow like that?" Wen Ning asked.

"I guess it normal if it custom made I think..." Xingchen replied.

But in truth speaking no matter how hard Xiao Zhan tried to remove the ring Yibo gave him it wouldn't budge, instead he would feel pain as if fire is burning him everytime he tried to remove it so he had no choice but to let it be.

The Wang household had been once lively again since Xinren (Luo'ers name he was given by Xu Wen) came even though he tries as much as he can to hide from Xu Wen but when his baby moods kicks he would let Xu Wen craddle him to sleep.

This is the tenth night that this has been happening now. Luo'er would wake up in the middle of the night and walk aimlessly  while shouting,

"Dada AnAn... dada AnAn where are you??" He walked down the passage down to the lounge.

"Dada AnAn... bad guys took me..." He wails as he twisted the door knob in the kitchen.

His eyes were still closed as he plunged into the darkness calling his dada AnAn(Zhan Zhan)

"Dada Siluo won't be a bad boy anymore... he will listen to dada and never talk to strangers... dada come and get your LuoLuo..." he continued to chant his cries as he walks aimlessly in the streets at nights. It was like he is possesed as if something is pulling him.

Wang Yibo who heard Xinren's wails got up and decides that today he will follow and see where exactly is he going because all the other nights Yibo would catch him before he get inside the forest.

He was following Siluo behind, listening to his every word he said, suddenly his mind was filled with many questions.

"Who is this AnAn?... Why does this kid calls himself Siluo? " he asked as he followed Luo'er quietly behind.

Xiao Zhan who was sleeping in his bed suddenly opened his eyes before leaving the apartment quietly.

Thanks to Wen Qing who was coming out from the kitchen who saw Zhan leave the apartment in a dazed state. She quickly woke the others up and they too decided to follow Xiao Zhan since this had been happening to him for the last ten days also.

Zhan crossed the street while murmuring.

"Siluo.... Siluo... dada is coming baby... wait for me..." all this while his eyes are open not blinking.

"LuoLuo... Dada is coming..." it wasn't until he stopped infront of a certain house looking at it. Suddenly his pinky began itching. When he looked down at his pinky it had a faint glowing red thread that was going the opposite direction into the forest.

Suddenly a huge truck passed by splashing water everywhere making Xiao Zhan wet, it wasn't long before he collapsed on the hard concrete floor hurting his head in the process

"Those who commited great crime against mortal shall be punished."

"Those who do things for their selfish gain shall be punished."

"Those who against the heavens warning shall be punished."

"Those who are greedy shall be punished"

"Those who are of the demonic cult shall be punished by death."

Mrs Xu woke up panting hard, she looked around and saw that she was still in her room.

"Wheeew... what a crazy dream." She said as she felt relief.

She was about to stand up when she noticed a latter in her hand. She looked around to see if there is anyone who came in the room but she was only here staying in this apartment so it impossible for someone to come in wethout her knowledge.

With shaking hands she brought the letter in front of her to read.

"Those who collaborated with the demonic cult and practiced dark magic shall be killed with no mercy."

After reading the letter she screamed and threw the letter away panting hard.

Suddenly a huge shadow in form of a bird appeared in the room and started attacking her.

It wasn't long when she screamed and woke up and saw that it was already morning. Her body was sore and it had black and blue lines. When she tried to recall what she had dreamed her head aches as she had forgetten her dream.

She limped her way to the bathroom and stood infront of a mirror looking at her swollen face.

She touched her face but hissed in pain. She did her morning routine before she went back to her bedroom to dress. She opened the long curtains of the apartment only to see a black glowing feather lying on her window pane.
