Summary: A crude and raunchy telling of two homosexuals who are in a long-distance relationship and get horny over facetime.

~☬~

Everyone knew that long-distance relationships were hard. It wasn't a secret at all to know that living so many miles away from your partner made things difficult and a little lonely. You knew that you belonged to someone, and you loved them deeply just as they did you. But you couldn't be with them physically. It really did suck. There is some time that can be spent together, but it's very limited.

Gilbert and Matthew weren't exceptions to this.

They had been together for going on 5 years, since their last year of school before University. They had wound up in separate universities more than a day’s drive away from each other. Of course, it wasn't like there was no contact at all between them. Sometimes one drives over to see the other and stays for the weekend (or week depending on their scheduled holiday leave from school and work), and they had scheduled Skype calls as well as normal phone calls and texts. So it wasn't as if they had no sort of contact with each other. It was more or less that they just got a bit lonely from having been away from each other so long. It really was quite lonely.

Matthew worried about Gilbert, knowing he was always so careless and too impulsive for his own good most of the time. He worried about him going too far or accidentally hurting himself in one way or another. It was just in his nature to worry about the other, especially when he was too far from him to really help him if anything were to go wrong.

Gilbert didn't worry so much as crave closeness. Matthew was the levelheaded one of the pair, the more rational. So he was never too worried, but he did crave for that bit of closeness that came from being held by his lover. He missed having the hugs, and the kisses, and having his hand held. He missed being able to turn over in bed and hold onto Matthew while he buried his face in Matthew's hair to finish sleeping through the night. He missed how it felt to be held so gently and to be given such sweet affection without wondering when the next time would be.

All that aside, they both still loved each other. They both still got just as happy to see the other pulling into their driveway during the start of their planned time together. They both lit up when each other's names lit up on the screen of their cellphones or when they heard the facetime coming through. They were both still so in love, and it didn't seem to be changing anytime soon.

Gilbert had just arrived home from his part-time job at the auto maintenance shop a few blocks from his apartment. It was nearly ten minutes until 9 PM, which was their agreed-upon time to call each other. Gilbert closed and locked the door, putting his keys on the kitchen counter, and putting his school bag down on one of the kitchen chairs. He went to his morning classes at 7 AM and stayed until his last class, which ended around 2:30 PM. From there, he took half an hour to get to work, and he stayed until 8:30 in the evening. It was a pretty simple schedule. Gilbert grabbed a half-eaten pack of Oreos out of the cabinet, a small bag of classic Lays chips and flavored water before heading to his bedroom. He set down his 'dinner' on the bedside table as he changed out of his day clothes into a pair of loose-fitting sweatpants and a tank top. He grabbed his laptop from his little desk and brought it to the bed, where he settled down on it, crossing his legs to make a makeshift flat surface for his laptop.
