-Natalie's POV-
Me and Dan left the hospital and we drove to a restaurant to have a bite to eat. As I stopped the car, I parked the car and looked over to Natalie.
"Nat, you wanna eat?" She just shook her head. She didn't wanted to speak cause of the loss of our baby girl.
"You need to forget about the loss. Please?" She just ignored my question and I just laid back in the seat.
"Ok. Well go home then." I started the car again and drive home. I kept looking to my left, seeing her still looking out the window of the car, with a blank expression. It was very quiet without talking for the entire car ride.
As we got home, I got out and went to Natalie's side.
"You want me to help you get out?" She nodded slightly. I opened her door and picked her up out of her side and shut the door. We both went inside, and was greeted by our pugs. Ellie was jumping all over my legs.
"Hey girls. You guys really missed us so much." Darcie started barking and she was so cute when she barks.
"Let me get mommy on the couch and we can cuddle." I walked to the living room and set Natalie down gently on the couch cause she is still in pain from her surgery.
"Ok, Ellie and Darcie. Come up here." I sat down on the other couch, and Ellie jumped up and cuddled on my lap. Darcie walked over to Natalie and she started whimpering.
"Darcie, no. You can't cuddle with her. Come here?" I patted a seat right next to me but instead, she jumped on Natalie's side and cuddled her. Heh...guess she wants some attention.
-Natalie's POV-
I was turned away from Dan and the pugs cause I didn't want to be bothered. Then, I felt Darcie jump on me and she cuddled right near my wound. I took my hand and slowly started petting her. I smiled slightly and felt a little better. Darcie always make me feel better when I feel sad and depressed.
"Hey, Darcie." She looked at me and she goes up to my face and starts licking my face. I start laughing.
"Darcie, stop. That tickles!" She just keeps licking me.
"Dan, she won't stop." I said, laughing. Dan gets up from his seat and takes Darcie, but then, Darcie made me laugh so hard, I fell off the couch. Darcie started playing with me!
"Darcie, stop. I can't breathe." I was smiling and laughing. "Good to have my lovely girlfriend back." Dan said, pulling Darcie away, and kissed me on the lips. "Good to be happy again, Dan." I said.
