-Natalie's POV-
I was watching tv up in our bedroom, when Darcie walked in. She started whimpering, wanting to come up on the bed.
"Hello little Darcie. Want up here?" I say as I get up from the bed and picked up Darcie and set her down and layer with her. She snuggled up to my legs and fell asleep. I smiled and slowly petted her smooth, soft fur. I'm glad we took her under our care. I started to feel tired, so I rested my head on the pillows and drifted to sleep.
-Dan's POV-
When I got home, I only saw Ellie when I walked in. Where's Darcie? I looked around the house and couldn't find her. Did she go upstairs?
I ran upstairs with Ellie following me from behind. I went into the office and looked around. Nothing. Bathroom, nothing. Guest bedroom, nothing. The last place she would be in our bedroom. So, I went into the room and saw something very adorable.
Natalie and Darcie fell asleep together and they are so cute. I quietly wen to the side and took a picture and tweeted, @TheDiamondMinecart found these cuties sleeping together🐺💜. Then, I did the same with Instagram. I heard Natalie's phone go off and it woke up Darcie.
She started barking and it was making Natalie wake up.
"Darcie, shh. You're gonna wake up mommy." Then, she woke up. Why does Darcie always have to be the loudest in this house?
"Morning, sleeping beauty." She smiled and stretched.
"Hi babe." I kissed her lips and she kissed back.
"You better get ready for tonight. I'm taking you out to dinner." I say as I held her hand.
"Ok, what time is it? I fell asleep." I chuckled.
"Almost 6:30. Why?" I asked.
"Jeez, I was sleeping for 6 hours. That was a good sleep, though." She said yawning. "Get ready now. We'll be leaving close to 7, alright?" She nodded and started to get ready. I was already dressed for dinner.
I ran downstairs, followed by the pugs. I walked into the kitchen and pulled out a drawer and grabbed the box with the ring. I put the ring in my pocket and went to the bottom of the stairs, waiting.
After about 3 minutes, I saw Natalie coming down and very beautiful. She was wearing a very long black silk dress with black lace heels. Her eyes were standing out like I was looking into the starry sky.
"You're so...beautiful." I said, still looking at her beauty. She smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Are we ready, Dan?" I shook out of my state and looked.
"Yeah. Let's go." We got into the car and drove to the restaurant.
As we pulled in, I got out and opened her door. "Wow, Dan. You're being a gentlemen tonight." She said as we took our hands and walked inside.
"Reservation for Middleton?" I asked. The women looked through the list.
"Ah yes, follow me." We followed her to our table and we ordered our drinks.
"Dan, I can't believe we have been together for 10 months and...it's amazing. I don't know what else I would say." She said. I reached over the table and held her hands. "It's more than that." I say as I kneeled on one knee.
-Natalie's POV-
As Dan was reaching to grab my hands, he also kneeled in front of me. My emotions kick in and I start crying. Is this reality? Am I dreaming?
"Natalie, when we first met, I thought you were the most perfect, beautiful girl I ever saw. Everything about you is perfect and I would think that we would be more forever in our lives. Natalie, I can't believe I'm say this but...will you be my wife?" He says as he opens a black box holding a ring with a red gemstone.
I looked around and saw everyone looking at us. I couldn't speak cause of this moment. I nodded and Dan put the ring on my finger. Everyone applauded and we held each other.
"Oh my god Dan. You did this just to propose to me? I love you so much." He smiled and we both kissed. I'm now married to Dan Middleton! This is the best day of my life!!!
