"Wake up sweet heart." My fathers voice crooned. Shocked, I sat up quickly in my bed, my covers falling away from my shoulders. " Time for school" I stared at him in disbelief. When had I fallen asleep? I was talking to a...spider before I-. Talking to a spider? That damn weirdo from the club must have slipped me something. " have you been drinking raven?" Dad leaned closer to me sniffing my shoulder. "Ah no-no i haven't" I stuttered. He narrowed his eyes scrutinizing my face. Under his glare i felt as if i were two inches tall. "Are you sure? I told your mother i didn't want you hanging out with your deliquent sister." I can here you!" Shana shouted. I glanced around dad to see Shana's door open. " I stand by it!" he yelled as he patted my head. "Get dressed" He kissed my forehead before exiting the room. My forehead burned where he kissed, my body began to shiver with repulsion. The action was weird seeing as i had always loved my fathers over bearing kisses. Slowly, i lifted my legs onto the cool wooden floor. My hand scraped across my pear colored dresser. Today would be like any other boring day at school. Teachers. Work. Students. Great.
Shana opened her pale blue locker glaring at the math book infront of her. As always she had dressed her best. The usual tight black skull shirt and black shorts with lace stockings underneath. I scoweled at her black combat boots. The boots i had gotten for my birthday this year and she claimed them immediately afterwards as hers. I bit my lips why could she not be more normal. Then again was i normal? I opened my locker that so happened to be next to hers. I glance at the small square mirror hanging on my door. My hair was in curls in a pony tail that hung to the side. I wore the classic spring blue dress that hung to my feet. I stood taller in my white wedges seeing as they matched my white stud earings. A smile stretched across my lips when my crush entered my mirror. There standing at an appalling six foot three was the adonis himself.
Cool wavy brown hair. Stunning midnight blue eyes, and abs to die for was in all of his glory, Terrance Woods. I shut my locker door quickly combing my fingers through my pony tail. "Whoa, whoa Ms. Raven what has you so flustered." Shana whispered looking at me dubiously. She smiled at Terrance behind me. I glance back our eyes meeting. I blushed turning my attention back to my stupid sister. "Lets go say hi. You know he is one of my friends right?" "No, i am not giving you another chance to do this for me" Shana shrugged as she waved him over. I mentally screamed. I knew better Shana had a history of butting into my business. Just like when we were kids she always had to take care of her poor, shy, little sister.
"Whats up Shana, and...Raven." he said as he walked up. My world was completely drawn to him as he stared at Shana. His flawless sun browned skin. His long thin nose and full pink lips. His muscles bulged through his black undershirt and short sleeves. Gosh he was a total- "Raven?" I shook my head tearing my eyes away from his arms. "Yes" I said a little to loudly. "I was asking why the sudden change in style?" I nearly melted under his sky blue eyes. His voice was gruff and low. "I am not sure, I just....Spring is here?" I said laughing nervously. He pursed his lips, his blue eyes shining with humor. "Oh really, spring?" "Yeah" I tore my eyes away from him feeling totally awkward. Shana cleared her throat. "Why not hang out after school with us?" she asked. There was a slight pause as i watched him shuffle his feet. Wolf. A voice inside of me whispered. My body froze . My heart thudded loudly in my chest until the noise pounded my ear drum. Let me out the voice whispered. What the hell? Bump.Bump. Bump. I blacked out.
CELESTE
"Sure If the guys can come along." the boy said. I looked upward at the boy before me. He looked in every concievable way like a lycan. His eyes were practically screaming his nature. His eyes landed on me as i continued to scrutinize him. His eyebrow rose in question. "Raven is something wrong with my face?" He asked grinning. I could see his k-9s were larger than most, his teeth both sharp and appealing. "Yes, its hot" I said smiling back at him. Shit, that was not something Raven would say. She was more reserved than this. Then again why was i treating the boy as if he were Alex. "Uh, Thanks your pretty hot too" "Thank you" A shrill high pitched whine assalted my ears. "Time for class"
