I sighed and put my phone down and gave him my complete attention
"Alright since you need to trust me here we go, you want the long Version or the short one?" I said
" whatever you're comfortable with" he said and I nodded
"Herb is my ex bf, we dated for two years until he cheated on me with his current gf. He got her pregnant and I left and here I am. "I said giving him a fake smiled
"Wait how'd you know about herb?" I questioned him
"I had one of my homeboys do research on you" he said and I was shocked
" you fucking stalker" I smacked his arm and rolled my eyes
"I gotta know if you was sent to get me or sum shit" he said and I shook my head
"But fr he a bitch ma he ain't deserve you. You too beautiful for all dat" he said in his heavy accent and I bit my lip and nodded my head and he got up and got the food.
He sat down and gave me the food, I went to taste it and it was amazing. As I bit into it I let out a moan and he laughed
"Damn it's like that?" He said laughing
"This is better than sex omg"
"Clearly you ain't had good sex before " I gasped and flicked him off and he laughed. We continued eating and him asking me more questions.
"Anymore questions for me mr.Brewster?" I asked him
"Nah not right now" his phone was going off and he answered, he said hello and after that his eyes darkened and I could see he was pissed. After a minute he hung up the phone.
"Grab your food and let's go" I quickly grabbed everything and ran to the car , I wasn't gonna argue or ask anything the dark eyes gave me everything I needed to know, I sat in the car as he got in and slammed the door and he hit the dashboard. He started the car and speeded to wherever, we reached a house and he got out grabbing his gun and going inside the house and I grew nervous.
I looked over and saw bully car in the drive way and I assumed it was his moms house, I got out the car and walked in the house and seen kairi in a corner crying with Dave and a women screaming at each other, it was an older lady screaming at the younger one right alone with Dave. I walked over to kairi and bent down to her and picked her up and took her upstairs
