"Ariana" he waved his hand in my face while I sat there not knowing what to say, he chuckled as he watched me snap out of it and play with my fingers
"I um im not the best with my words" I said picking up my glass taking a sip
"I know but I need to know " he said staring at me
"I love kai the way you take care of her the way you stepped up by being bother parents. The way you run your businesses how you handle your money. The way you make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world, your the first guy to treat me like I actually matter. But your business comes first and I can't compete with that and I won't, I can't keep giving you a bunch of chances to get it right we have to talk more and I have to communicate with you just like you need to do with me."
"You don't have to compete with it, I want you I want this and ima do whatever to keep you. "
"But it's more to it, I need to see a difference dave we grown. You got your businesses and your lifestyle but ion wanna do this if I'm not gonna be a priority " I said and he nodded, I could see he was really taking all this in as we talked.
"Just get your shit together that's it david" I poked my bottom lip out and he leaned over and kissed my lips and I smiled
"We can take things slow cause I know you don't forgive me right now and I respect that but ima do whatever I can for you" he grabbed my hand and kissed it
"actions speak louder than words. Now let's eat cause I'm hungry " he laughed and wave the waiter over to bring out the food.
We sat and ate together and he told me more about things he has going on, I enjoyed spending time with him. As were talking my phone starts ring off the hook, I pick it up and answer it
"Hello?" I pop up the phone seeing that it was my momma
"Ariana where you at??" She asked looking around
"Ma I'm in Atlanta I'm out right now" I said sighing
"Who you with?"
"A friend mom" I said and Dave mugged me and snatched the phone
"I wouldn't say that I'm a friend but hello" he said to my mother and she gasped
