Someone was staring at me. I knew it. I look all around me. Not one person in the room. The blank white walls were covered in some sort of unknown substance, maybe grease. No matter what it was, it was meant to stop me from climbing the walls. I heard a noise. A person? No. An alarm. I hear beeping. As it gets faster, I start to panic. Nowhere to go. Nowhere to hide from my doom. I lay on the ground in a fetal position and started to cry. My hair falls out from stress. Suddenly, it explodes. I feel my whole life flash before my eyes, until I finally open them.
I woke up, panting. My oversized t-shirt was filled with sweat and got uncomfortable. I take it off and put a new one on. And that's when I realize. Oh shit. I'm late for school.
I ran down the stairs after I got dressed. I brush my hair as I make toast for breakfast. I do my eyeliner as I frantically put clips in my hair. I ran to school. I was two hours late for school. I open the door to my biology class way too hard. Everyone stares at me.
"You're late" My teacher says.
"Really? Couldn't tell" I snap back.
My teacher glares at me as I go to my seat. We had dissected frogs earlier. Thank God, I missed it. The room reeked of chemicals and some sort of swamp like scents. I gagged.
"C-Can I go outside for a breather?" I say, trying not to puke all over everyone.
"Yes Ms. Macintosh."
I run outside as fast as I can and hide behind a bush. I threw up and walked away.
"Ugh. That was gross." I say to myself as I wipe my mouth.
And at that moment, something I never thought would happen, happened. A black almost limousine car pulled up to me and said,
"Sarah Macintosh."
