I woke up the next morning with Rafe sitting next to me. "Morning." He said softly. I reached up to touch his face, and he leant into my hand. "Hey love birds, sausage or bacon?" Sarah asked from the kitchen. "Don't care." I said, and wrapped Rafe into a hug. He planted a kiss on the top of my head and I smiled. "How long have you two been awake?" I questioned. "Long enough to talk shit out." Rafe chuckled. "That's good." I smiled, and Sarah brought a plate of pancakes and bacon to both of us. "So, what's the plan today?" Sarah asked and I shrugged. Rafe's phone went off and his face fell. "What?" I asked. "Uh nothing. I gotta go." He said quickly, before giving me a kiss and running out of the door. "The hell was that?" I asked, and Sarah shrugged. She and I decided to binge watch The vampire diaries, and pig out on junk the whole day. "Honey?" My mother called from the front door. "In here!' I yelled back and she came and sat down next to me on the couch. "What's that look for?" I asked her. "I have to go back to Wilmington for a while to help one of my friends since she just had a baby." My mother explained. "Okay?" I said, wondering why she was so bent out of shape. "Well that's it. I'm going to be gone a while, and your little brothers coming with me, so you'll be alone." She rambled. "Mom, i'm not alone. I have the pogues, i'll be fine." I reassured her, and she smiled, before going in her room to back. JJ knocked on the door a second later with the whole crew behind him, and we all went and hung out by the dock.  A few minutes later my phone went off. "Is that Rafe?" Sarah asked. "Yeah." I sighed and answered the phone." "What's going on?" I asked. "Well why did you go back home?" "Okay, okay, i'll be there in a second." I sighed and hung up. "Why is Rafe calling you?" JJ sked. "I'll explain later. We gotta go to your house now." I told Sarah. "Want me to drive? John B asked, and I nodded before we all got in the van.

We pulled into the Cameron's driveway. "Holy shit." Sarah said, and we turned to see Ward and Rafe going at it. "Hey! Get in!" I yelled, as I slid the side door open. JJ slammed it shut as soon as Rafe was in the van, nd John B sped off as Ward ran toward us. "Uhm, the fuck?" Sarah yelled. Rafe was stone faced, and stared straight ahead. "Rafe?" I said, and touched his arm. He flinched away. "Hey it's okay." I whispered, and pulled Rafe into me, he started to shake. "Hey, you're good, breathe." I said softly. "Do you want some water?" Kie asked, after Rafe had calmed down, and he nodded. Kie handed him a bottle, and he took it, chugging the whole thing. "Thanks." He said shakily. Kie just shrugged. "So, Rafe Cameron saying thank you. That's a fucking new one." JJ sighed. Rafe ignored him, and I laced my fingers with his. "What happened?" I asked, and he shrugged. "I stole some money to pay back Barry." "How much?" I questioned. "Twenty five grand." My eyes widened. "You've bought five grand worth of drugs?" I asked. "It's the only thing that helps." I frowned. "Before you." Rafe added quickly.  "Okay, what the fuck is going on." JJ yelled. "Rafe and I are together." I admitted. "Yeah, look dude, i'm sorry about before." Rafe told him. JJ nodded and we all stared at the two. "Well fuck, i'm not gonna hug him." JJ said, and we all burst out laughing.  we all ended up going back to John B's house, and having a beer before playing cards on the porch. Rafe's arm stayed wrapped around my waist the whole time, while he and JJ attempted to get along. I smiled at the thought, and hoped things would stay like this forever.

Boy was I fucking wrong.
