Skye's Pov

"You're gonna be a daddy." I said, and Rafe smiled widely. "Really? Are you serious?" He asked. "I'm serious." "She's serious." JJ smiled. "You!" I turned and pointed at him. "You can't tell anyone." I said and JJ whined. "Why do I have to keep secrets?" "Because you're the only one who's here." I whined back. "Have you stayed here with her the whole time?" Rafe asked JJ. "Yeah, pretty much every night. I didn't want her to be alone." JJ said. "Thank you." Rafe told JJ. "No problem." The door opened and the doctor walked in. "Ah! Mr. Cameron, glad to see you're awake. Did you have a nice nap?" The doctor joked. No one laughed. "Uh, anyway. I just need to check your vitals, and If everything checks out you can go home tonight." JJ and I stepped outside while the doctor checked everything, and he soon came out into the hallway. "Good news! Mr. Cameron is all good to go home, his ribs and his spine fracture has completely healed, his arm is still healing, and will be in the cast for another three weeks." The doctor told us, and handed us the discharge papers. "Dammit!" Rafe yelled, and I ran inside to see him struggling to put on his t shirt. "You need some help?" I asked, and he glared at me before nodding. I went over and fixed his sleeve over he cast, and he smiled at me. "Thanks. Now can we get out of here please?" He asked and I nodded. "Yeah, let's go home."

"Hey mom! We're home!" I called, and she popped around the corner. "Oh goodie!!" she ran over and gave me a hug. "Oh! You must be Rafe!" My mother squealed before pulling him into a hug as well. "Hi Mrs. Rodgers." Rafe chuckled. "Oh please, call me Vivian!" My mother smiled. "Are you kids hungry? I'm just finishing up dinner." She told us. "I think we're gonna unpack and get settled, but we'll come eat in a second." I said, and Rafe and I went into my, well now our, room. "I love your mom." Rafe laughed as I put my clothes away. He laid on the bed, and stared at the ceiling. I went to the bathroom, and put away all of my toiletries before tossing my bookbag in my closet. "Oh my god." Rafe said, his voice breaking. "What is it? Does something hurt?" I asked, panicking. Rafe shook his head and leant into my chest as I sat down next to him. "What is it baby?" I questioned, running my fingers through his hair. He looked up at me, with tear's running down his face. "My dad is dead." He cried, and I began to cry as well. I hadn't thought about what I did since the police told me I wouldn't be charged with anything. "Rafe, i'm so sorry.." I whimpered. "It's not your fault, you did what you had to." He told me, and I nodded. "I hope Wheezie is okay.." He whispered after a moment. I sniffled, and wiped the tears away. "She's doing okay. Sarah told her everything, and she's not mad at either of us. She actually came to visit while you were in the hospital. She laid next to you in your bed and read you stories." I chuckled at the thought. "I heard her." Rafe smiled. "She read me Robin hood. And a batman comic." Rafe sat up and smiled. A knock at the door interrupted us. "Come in!" I yelled. "Sorry to bother, but there is a girl out here, who is very eager to see her brother." My mother smiled, and stepped out of the doorway. "Hey Wheezie." Rafe smiled, and she ran to hug him. "I missed you." She whispered to him. "I missed you too kiddo." "Hey, i'm your sister too, you know." Sarah said, and gave Rafe a hug. "Dinner's ready." My mother yelled from the kitchen. We all went out, and were about to make our plates when the doorbell rang. "I got it." I said, and walked to the door. "Hey baby." "Dad?"
