It Was An Mistake (chap 4)

Hey all! I'm so glad that I've reached 85 reads. It means so much to me. I wasn't even expecting to get 5 but over the stretch of 4 parts I am so proud and so thankful.         Wow, I never intended that to happen. Of course I loved Jay but I don't think me and him are physically or mentally ready for an child. How will we take a baby surfing, to shoots? Skydiving? I had so many questions.

"Baby, you can't be. It's impossible! Aren't you on the pill?"
"The pill doesn't always work." I whispered. I sat on top of his lap, the insides of my thighs hugging his waist. He laced his hands with mine, and kissed my knuckles gently.

"It's not final yet. We need to go to the doctor and check y'know. It was an mistake."

I nodded, agreeing with him. I didn't know if it was a mistake. I also don't think Jay and I were ready for a kid. "Ok. I'll call them and set up an appointment." I was upset at Jay's reaction. I got off him and walked downstairs into the living room. Lincoln jumped up and teethed on my hands while I called the doctors office.

"Aloha, this is Dr. Walls office, how can I help you?"
"Hi, um this is Alexis Rèné or Alexis Glabach, I've been going to this doctors office for awhile?"
"No, ma'am I can't seem to find you in the system. I do, however, have an Alexis Rèné Alvarrez." I blushed and bit my lip, then nodded into the phone before snapping back into reality.
"Yep, that's me. Well, my boyfriends last name but whatever." I became flustered then made an appointment.

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs as Jay came down in a wetsuit.
"Hey pup, I'm gonna go to the beach. You good here?" I nodded, then he leaned down to give me a light kiss, holding my face. "Ok don't get too crazy while I'm gone." He adjusted his footing then walked out.

*** 1 hour later
My phone vibrates 3 times, then I get up and check my texts.

4 new texts from Jay:

Jay: hey babe wat r u doin? ✌️
Jay: I miss u 😍😘
Jay: when I get home we can cuddle and watch movies and fool around k?😊
Me: k bb ily ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I took a nap on the couch, but was half-asleep when I heard footsteps enter the house. Jay was wet when he came up behind me and picked me up from the couch. 

"Wake up." He said when he set me down on the bed. He laid next to me then started tickling me. I smiled and began laughing so loud, my dogs started whimpering. 

"You're back."

"Obviously."

"I missed you."

He grinned then flipped me over to face him. He put his forehead against mine and we were both staring into eachothers eyes. He lightly kissed my nose, then wrapped his arms around me, pulling me in close. "I missed you, too. We're gonna get through this, ok?" 

"Ok."
