After what happened, I went to my house to unburden myself with my followers.

Mom; Did all that really happen, Seulgi?

Me; Mom! What are you doing here?

Mom; I knew I was working too much and now I see that I've missed everything that's happened to you! I'm sorry.

Me; It's cool, Mom, I can handle myself.

Mom; Well, I don't want you hanging around those Veronica and Cheryl girls, they are bad influences!

Me; But I like Veronica and she may look a little rough around the edges, but she has a good heart.

Mom; But she's still a Lodge and you know damn well what I'm talking about. Trust me, ladybug.

Me; What can I do then?

Mom; The mayor of this town is Mr.Lodge, Veronica's father and if something happens to his "dear daughter", he is capable of driving us out of town.

Me; It still doesn't make sense, she doesn't look mean to me.

Mom; Unlike them, that Taylor girl seems nice, but stay away from those troublemakers.

My mom's been acting weird lately, I think I'll cut that one.

Me; I should go to school, I'm going to be late.

Mom; I'm just looking out for you. I love you.

Me; I love you too, Mom.

Deep down I'm feeling lonely and even more worried. Why does my mom want me to stay away from my new friends? Apart from Cheryl of course. I can't understand Cheryl, but Veronica has been nice to me.

Arriving at school, I go to my locker to get the materials and reflect on the conversation I had with my mother.

Me(speaking loudly); I'm so confused!

Reggie M.; Why are you so depressed, Kwong? Upset that the musical didn't work out?

Me; It's just family matters, my mom has been acting weird.

Reggie M.; Oh! So that's where this weird personality of hers was born. (Laughter)

Me; Back off, Reggie! At least I'm trying to help!
