in the morning

ʚ───--ʚɞ--───ɞ

I lifted my eyes open as I got up and yawned tiredly.
The sunlight from the outside beamed from under the blinds to the floor, making me clench my eyes.
I thought to myself; "Strange, I usually never yawn in the mornings." I looked around the room, and then down at my body.

"But how am I human?! This isn't possible."

Taking a deep breath, trying to calm myself down, I realized that I was on a mission to catch runaways.

"That could be the reason why I'm human again.."

There suddenly was a slight knock on the door, and then it swung open. A woman came inside and filled the room with a sweet scented aroma. "Goodmorning sweetheart, it's time for school." she told me. I assumed she was my 'mother', so I casually played along with it. "Alright, I'll get ready." I responded back. I got up from the bed I was on and looked around to see if I could see a dresser. Well, it was obvious that there was a dresser inside the room somewhere; I just didn't know where it was or where I was in general.

A couple minutes later I found the dresser. I opened it to see that there were no dresses inside and that there was only jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and soft material-like baggy pants.

"What the hell is this? There's no princess attire in here!" I yelled in confusion, but not too loud so the woman that was in the house couldn't hear me. I scoffed and just chose something to wear that a teenager would wear. I saw that I was short so I assumed that I was in my teens. I left the room I was in and looked right to left down the hall so I could find where the bathroom was. Once I did find it; which took a while to find-- I found a toothbrush packet that had an unused toothbrush in it and decided to use it. I didn't even look into the mirror to see how I looked. After I got done I left the house. I saw a bus stop near ahead and decided to head there since my 'mom' wasn't in the car outside.

After finally reaching the bus stop, there were already teenagers-- and kids who looked like they were in college-- there making a loud ruckuss.

"These noisy fools," I thought and scoffed.

For quite a while then, the bus finally came.

The building was certainly not fancy, it was probably designed by lower-class men. I shook my head and walked inside with a straight posture and big smile. I made sure to check for those who did not welcome me. As I was walking to class, a guy with light brown hair and blue eyes got in front of me, blocking my path. I coughed but he didn’t budge, he looked a bit familiar.. When he turned around I gasped. I asked him if he was sent here as well. He said he doesn’t know me, I wonder why. I dismissed him with a wave but he raised his eyebrows. "You can go," I said. He scoffed and left. I wonder why he didn’t remember me. I walked to class in annoyance that he had showed no interest.

I looked around the room. I barely knew what was happening, and the students did not look familiar. Her mind was still on that guy that she had bumped into earlier.

"Why did he not remember me?"

She scoffed in annoyance.
Time had gone by, and soon, that sunrise became afternoon. She had been focusing on school all day like she was really going through it again, for the second time..
The bell rang, and students eroded the hallways to grab their stuff and leave. She walked with pride, her chin up and posture perfect. While walking towards her locker, she heard a scream break out. She glanced over her shoulder and saw a guy on the floor with a black eye, and somebody standing on top of him with his fists out.

"What?! But.. That's-.. that's the guy I had bumped into earlier.."
