"Actually, I'm helping your mom do some work in this house of yours."
----
"Ugh, just shut up and come inside already!" I said, a little pissed.

"So, this guy comes here to help my mom work? please."
----
"Oh? So the little lady has some attitude huh?" He draws himself in, closer to me and I freeze. I can smell the aroma of his cologne. He puts his hand on the top of the door frame and gazes at me. He has light brown hair, and sparkling blue eyes. He acted like a stubborn and snobby bad boy, but his appearance was perfect. It reminded me of someone.

"So, you just gonna stare at me or are you gonna let me come inside?"
----
"What? Oh I- Ugh. Come inside."

"Why did I get so caught up with him? He's an absolute idiot."

As we walked inside my house, he closed the door behind us. "You don't have a bad house you know, for a little lady like you." He smirked.
----
"Just shut up! Gosh, you're so annoying!"
----
"Not if I can help it."

My mom came from the hall and into the kitchen. I didn't notice her until he gave his focus to the side of the room.
"Oh! Hello Marcus!" she said happily, and she walked up to him and hugged him.
----
He winked at me. "Hey Mrs. Fields. I'm here to help you do some work?" he replied.
----
"I actually don't need you to do some work today, so.. how about you and Aurora just chill out for a bit?"
----
"Gladly," he said, looking at me. I scoffed, then giggled. He had a goofy side to him. He was trying to act cool but it really wasn't working out.

in aurora's room

We walked into my room. I sat on my bed, and he sat on a chair where my desk was.
"That was pretty bold of you to confront me at school today," he said.
----
"Yeah, but that was your fault you were fighting that guy. You're a good-looking guy, how come you're the bad boy type?"
----
"What's that? You think I'm good-looking, hm?"
He stood up and came to me. The closer he got, the more nervous I became.

"Why am I so nervous now? Do I.. in this era… No. The thought of that is just.. second guessing."

He sat down beside me and whispered, "You know, we could be on good terms.. only if you cooperate."
----
"What? Wait.. What are you suggesting?"
----
"I mean, we could be friends."
----
"Hold on.. the bad boy wants to be friends with me? Hmm, that's shocking." I said, sarcastically. He smirked and let out a small laugh.
----
"Don't play around here, just tell me what you think about that."
----
"Well, I guess I could make it work."
----
"Alright little lady, I guess we're friends now."
----
"Don't use it as an advantage! I still don't like you. Hmph!" He started to laugh, and I soon joined him. We both chatted for a little, and soon he left.

"That was the most fun I've had in a while, but still, I don't think I'll ever actually like him. Im guessing that the girl in this body before I came was a loner. Maybe, she didn't associate with Marcus and didn't have any friends. Well, we're friends now, but I really should go to bed."

the next day

I couldn't really sleep last night, that is, because I was having deep thoughts yesterday. I woke up and looked around the room. I yawned and rubbed my eyes. I then started to see a black figure, they were blurry and then my eyes started to focus on them. "What are you doing here Marcus?! Were you watching me sleep or something?"
----
"You missed the bus, so I decided to come get you."
----
"I WHAT?" I screamed. I flew up off my bed. "Can you get out so I can change? I'm already late!"
----
"It's actually 7:40 so you're not late, you just missed the bus. I didn't know the little lady cared so much about her attendance," he laughed.
----
I let out a scoff; "That's because you're such a snobby and stubborn bad boy that you don't go to school at the right time!"
----
"Well, now I will be going to school at the right time. I am driving you to school aren't I?"

"He knows how to drive?!"

"Fine. Just get out." He got out of the room and I sighed, thinking;

"I must have overslept- because last night, I wasn't thinking straight."

When I finished changing I ran into the bathroom to brush my teeth, then got my book bag from the floor and ran outside.

"There's no rush, little lady. Take your time." he said with a smirk. I respectfully climbed into the front seat and put my bag on the floor.
"Thanks for taking me to school." I said, really not wanting to be nice to him.
----
"You're welcome little lady, you're lucky to have me." He winked.
----
"Hey! Don't get so cocky! I only told you thanks, I could've not said anything."
----
"Playing hard to get, hm?"
----
"Just shut up!" Once we got to the school, he parked his car into one of the parking lots. "Not a bad driver for a bad boy." I said with a smirk.
----
"Shut up." he said, and let out a little laugh.
----
"Just remember, no fights okay?"
----
"Fine. But only for you."
----
I giggled.

"He's not as bad as I thought actually."
