Now that you have heard the legends that time tells, and the known knowledge of this tale dark and grim, you shall know my side of this story. What happened in detail to me that the legends both relate to and don't.

My story, my full true tale starts here.

What the legend tells true, yes I was the Daughter of the village Chief, my father Chirpino Gonzalez (I'm terrible at old time names), a silly name it you but to me and everyone else who lived back then it was a name to worship.

Chirpino had built the village from the first board lain to the small but prosperous town it was then. He protected it with his life, leading raids and defense parties to, not conquer but drive out and protect from outsiders who meant harm to our civilization.

Those who came across peacefully brought goods with them, wares they had gathered from the land which they lived, trade was small but abundant enough to help our town grow bit by bit.

Father always had the best sense of good and bad people. Never had anyone been able to deceive him of their intentions.

Some of you may be wondering, how I must have had to try and live up to him, some of you may think I'm making this up and glorifying him more than really was; well think what you think. Say what you say but it's my story, it's my tale and my history.

Yes I had much to live up to in my fathers name and I did so as much as I could in other ways.

My birth was a celebrated holiday for my village. It brought more hope and more rejoice to them all in the times of gloom I came to be in.

Yet birth cannot be without a mother yes? You are correct there, not much is known of my mother, she's never brought up in the historical texts, none of the tales, but this one.

She died, giving birth to me. It was a tragic happening, one that caused the Grief that the rejoice of receiving me had melted down. My father and the rest thought it a rebirth, my mothers life into mine, a spirit moving to its next life. It may be true and it may not. Even I wonder About it sometimes, but enough on that. Back to the happenings of my story.

Yes my birth brought rejoice, life after death, it also brought luck. Just a  few days after my birth, in a mountain not so far away, our explorers had scouted out a bounty of the richest minerals, and we grew ever more slightly. The prizes were gifted to me as thanks.

No use of them every really came to me. I was the, "Crown Jewel" of my village. Growing up beautifully into a young, adolescent woman.

But with all good must come bad to balance it out. In truth, as I grew up from tot to my young midds the people started to fear me. For you see, certain things would happen with me. If someone had done good to or with me the next day they were found to be gifted and if they wronged me in the slightest they would have a punishment in turn

Because of this, rumors spread that I was, 'cursed' or that I 'cursed others with evil magic if they wronged me' this caused much rupture throughout our beloved community and much fighting and hate.

Chirpino saw this was breaking apart this community and snuffed out the rumors immediately, though the inset of it still hung around the villagers.

Were the rumors true? Did I use evil spells to curse others? No, I in fact had no idea of what was happening with me. I saw how all who in the slightest wronged me were punished by unbeknown forces, it confused me, terrified me. I was scared that I was somehow hurting my own people even though I shan't know how or what caused it.
