The Journey ||DRAGON AU||

Chapter 9

*Norman's men then retreated leaving the people of Edgeville with no dragons and no chief*

*A few hours later they put Ack on a small boat with a blanket on top of him and released him to the water*

*The guard that released Ack's boat gave Aurora a bow and arrow . She lit the arrow on fire and shot it at the boat Ack was on. After that, everyone in the village did so too. It was a sign of farewell*

Aurora : "I'm sorry dad for everything I have done. I really am."

*Hanna then asked the villagers to rest and she asked the guard's to give blankets and other needs*

*Hanna walks to Aurora who was still standing looking at the boat*

Hanna : "Your father was just like you. He was small and fragile but he grew up and become a strong person and an amazing chief"

Aurora : "......"

Hanna : "He never doubted doing anything just like you did, I know you're worried that you can't be a great chief and handle this village by yourself you need dad to help you-"

Aurora : "I can't be a chief mom. I'm sorry..."

Hanna : "Will dad like that?"

Aurora : "No but it doesn't matter. I can't do this without him mom"

Hanna : "I know but you have your friends, your bestfriends to be exact. Would your father pick Melina or Riley as the chief?"

Aurora : "He probably would they're the best"

Hanna : "Did he ever said that to you?"

Aurora : "No-"

Hanna : "Why?"

Aurora : "I don't know"

Hanna : "Because they're not you. He always said that you'd become the strongest of them all."

Riley : "and he was right"

Riley and Melina join in on Hanna's and Aurora's conversation*

Riley : "You have a heart of a chief and a soul of a dragon"

Melina : "Only you can bring our worlds together. That is who you are Aurora"

Hanna : "Now go out there and tell your people who you are"

*Then Hanna walks away to take care of the villagers. Aurora took a deep breath and let it out then walks in front of the villagers with Riley and Melina behind her. The villagers then looked at her all the attention was on her now*

Aurora : "I uh I was always so afraid of becoming my dad, mostly because I thought I never could. H-how do you become someone that great, that brave, that selfless. I guess you can only try. A chief protects his own....."

*She looked at the boys and the girls*

Aurora : "we're going back"

Jace : "With what?"

Louis : "He took all our dragons"
