Gabby and Matt walked into the firehouse. Gabby saw Otis and Herrmann talking in the kitchen so she went over and drug Casey with her.
"Hey guys Casey said he will help with the bar."
"That's great Gabby" Herrmann said giving Matt a pat on the back.
Everyone was on the apparatus floor. Gabby and Leslie were cleaning the ambulance. Squad 3 was cleaning the squad truck. Well until Casey got a hold of a hose and splashed water on Severide.
"Hey... That's it your turn." Kelly said grabbing the hose spraying water on Matt. Then Otis and Cruz joined in, and before they knew it everyone from engine 51, squad 3, ambulance 61, and truck 81. Chief Boden walked out.
"What are you all doing." Boden said looking a little angry and everyone stopped. No one answered.
"A water battle and Pouch and I are not invited."
Dawson grabbed the hose from Shay and sprayed chief and pouch. Shay and Dawson to have everyone pitch in and make an obstacle course.
"In the first obstacle you have to take a water balloon, fill it up in the kitchen, run out to truck 81, climb over the truck with out having the balloon breaking. Who ever has the slowest time has to buy everyone a drink!" Gabby said with a clip board and a pen and a price of paper with everyone's name on it and the words 'obstacle number 1 balloon and truck 81'.
"Shay your first." Shay walked up and stood next to Dawson.
'"Are you ready Leslie?"
"Ready? Hell ya!"
"3....2......1..... GO!" Shay ran and everyone watched. It didn't take long for the balloon to pop on shay.
"Shit" Shay said running back to the kitchen to get a new balloon to fill up. Pouch was running with her the whole time barking and trying to get the balloon.
"8 minutes 20 seconds" Gabby said when Shay crossed the finish line.
"I'm up some time me." Gabby said handing the clipboard and timer to Severide.
"Ready Dawson?"
"Yep"
"3.....2.......1.....GO!" Severide yelled and Gabby was off.
Gabby finished with a time of 9 minutes 3 seconds. Matt finished with a time of 8 minutes 32 seconds. Severide finished with a time of 9 minutes. Otis finished with a time of 8 minutes 24 seconds. Cruz finished with a time of 10 minutes 2 seconds. Mills finished with a time of 8 minutes 21 seconds. Herrmann finished with a time of 8 minutes 22 seconds. Hadley finished with a time of 9 minutes 46 seconds. Clarke finished with a time of 9 minutes 50 seconds. Capp finished with a time of 10 minutes. Chief finished with a time of 8 minutes 40 seconds.
"1st place is Shay. 2nd place Mills. 3rd Herrmann, 4th Otis, 5th Chief, 6th Severide, 7th Gabby, 8th Hadley, 9th Clarke, 10th Capp, 11th Cruz."
"The stupid balloon kept popping."
"Sure Cruz blame it on the balloons." Casey said laughing.
"Alright play time over we all have stuff to do." Chief said.
"Awwee...." Everyone said while they headed back to the locker room. Casey walked over to Dawson and held her hand. Kelly walked over to Shay.
"Hey babe." Kelly said then he picked Leslie up bridal style.
"Hey!!!" Shay said little loud because he scaled her. Casey and Dawson laughed at them and they all went to go get changed. After everyone got changed Mills was getting food out to start to cook.
"Truck 81, Squad 3, Engine 51, Ambulance 61, Battalion 25 car accident 535 Back Street." Dispatch said. Everyone ran to there trucks. Once Mouch got up Punch ran to where Mouch was sitting and laid down to take a nap. Once they got to the scene there were two cars one flipped on on its side. Casey and his men took the can on its side while squad took the car that was flipped. Both teams worked and got everyone out safely and there were no major injuries. Once the ambulance dropped off the victim they decided to go out and care for the homeless.
