Gabby and Matt walk in to the firehouse together holding hands and laughing.
"Well look at this Mouch.... We have a pair of love birds." Herrmann said while getting up and punching the side of Casey's arm playfully.
"Ya..... Ya...... Your just jealous of us."
"Lieutenant I'm not jealous I think its cute."
Casey and Dawson went into the locker room and got change. Matt went to go do some paper work while Gabby a Leslie talked about there night. Gabby told Leslie everything. Leslie told Gabby everything.
Just as the girls went to go inside the kitchen the alarm went off.
"Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, Engine 51, Battalion 25 Car accident at the intersection on rout 54."
Everyone ran to there tracks and sped off. Dawson was not sure how this was going to go. When they got to the scene of the accident everyone could see that there was a 15 car back up and all the trucks had problems getting to the actual scene. When they finally got to the scene they saw three cars. One of the cars was on fire the driver and his family out off the car standing along the road huddled together to stay warm.
"Battalion 25 to main we are going to need more ambos."
"Copy that battalion 25 ambulances on rout."
As Leslie put the family from the burning car in the ambulance to stay warm Severide was working on the truck that was flipped and Casey was working on the van that was upright.
"Dawson we need you over here!" Casey yelled.
Dawson ran over got in the van through the broken back window that Casey had gotten into moments before Dawson. Dawson could see the woman had a wound to the chest and her legs are stuck.
"I'm Gabby Dawson? What's your name?"
"Mickala......... I can't move my legs!" The woman started to panic and tried to move around.
"Stay still Mickala we are going get you out but you have to stay still."
Casey yelled at his men for tools and Dawson put a c-collar on Mickala.
"We need a back board over here."
"Back board on the way Dawson." Herrmann handed Dawson the back board.
"On three! One......Two........Three!" They lifted the back board out of the van with Mickala on it as just as the back board g out of the car the car exploded into flames. Casey lauded overtop of Dawson till the flames were put out but it took truck three minutes to get he flames down. Casey pushed Dawson out the window then he claimed out.
"You okay?" Matt asked with a very worried look on his face.
"Yea..... You?" Casey turned his arm over and you could see a little bit of his skin which was really red. Gabby ran over to him and fixed his arm up.
"Its a first degree burn it should heal in no time."
"Thanks Gabby. I'm glad your okay."
"I'm glad that this is all that was burnt on you. Thanks for saving my life."
"Any time." He leaned over to Gabby and whispered in hr ear.
"I love you." Then he got up and walked back to hide truck. Severide got the drive out of the flipped truck with no problems wand the driver was drunk. The cops came and took the driver away. As they all pulled back into the fire house shift was over and the next shift guys were there. Everyone went home. Dawson went home with Casey and Shay went home with Severide.
