Chapter Seven

"Yujin?" A voice rang in Yujin's ears. She looked up to see whl it was. It was Yeji, who lookef at her worriedly. Yujin Gave her a weak smile.

"Hey Miss Presy," Yujin greeted. "You're such an early bird."

"Uh yeah I guess." Yeji  raised her eyebrow in confusion.

She knew Yujin and Minju were supposed to clean together yet she's confused why Yujin is sitting alone in hallway, in a casual outfit. Yehi was definetely shocked by Yujin's visual overflowing on her outfit. It was new to her seeing Yujin dressed this way as the latter always wore sweatpants and hoodies.

Yujin stood up and gave her the bouquet of daisies. She smiled and gazed into her brown eyes.

"I want you to have it," Yujin rubbed her back of her neck. "Hmm as a token of apology... For stressing you out. I knle it's stressful being a student council President."

Yeji smiled back feeling her heart flutter by Yujin's sudden kindness. After all, she knew Yujin was being sincere.

"Umm thank you, Yujin. I appreciate it," Yejo chuckled. "Even though I'm not the student council anymore." She attempted to wink but failed miserably.

Yujin sniggered which embarrassed Yeji.

"Don't worry Ms. Hwang. I don't know how to wink too." Yujin patted her shoulder then leaned to whisper. "Those who knew how to wink are losers."

Yeji giggled at Yujin's words. She realized Yujin isn't that bad. In fact, she's a ball of sunshine.

"By the way, what's with the music?" Yeji curiously asked.

"Oh umm... I dunno." Yujin shrugged then grinned as she offered a hand to Yeji. "But... Ms. Hwang... Can I dance you?"

Yeji was caught offf guard. She was confused if Yujin was flirting or if shr just meant it in a friendly way. She learned to agree and held her hand.

The song "Stick With You" played next. Yujin knew her friends dozed off.

Yujin held her waist gently with her left hand while the other held Yeji's small hand. Yeji placed her left hand on Yujin's broad shoulder. She surelt felt flustered when Yujin interwined their hands.

It was an unusual scene for Yeji. Her, dancing with Yujin, the girl used to stressed over, in thr desserted hallway. For some reason, she felt comfortable. It is unexpected for her to feel this way when the most of the she's stressed by Yujin.

For a minute they look like a couple. They way they moved in sync as if they've been together for so long.

Yujin then danced weirdly which made Yeji laugh.  She copied Yujin's moves. Yujin's mood brightened by Yeji's sillt moves. Yujin never expected the stiff and role model student, Hwang Yeji, would act this way.

The two had a mini showdown witg tge silliest moves they could perform. They, then errupted into a laughter which is loud for Minju and Chaewon to hear.

Minju knew who it was. She and Chaewonwent to outside the classroom to see who it was.

Her eyes widened when she saw them, Yujin and Yeji, dancing weirdly. She thought it was like the two are summoning a demon. What shocked her more is how Yeji acts around Yujin. She looks comfortable and happy with her. Yeji is usualky not the type who opens up easily to other people especially a troublemaker.

"Yeji? Yujin?"

The two stopped dan ing then faced them. Yujin picked up the bouquet and gave it to Yeji as she smiled softly. Minju crossed her arms then raised her eyebrow seeinv their interacion.
