~The Cost Of Being A Witch~

L:"Okay,okay. You win so now move aside, I'll get something for us to drink"

Lisa yelled in between her giggles. She tried to move but William's grip on her waist was so tight that she couldn't even stand up from his laps.

L:"Yah! Let me go, else what about you making just for this once please?"

She asked with her puppy eyes hoping for William to fell for her trick again.

W:"You can't fool me everytime babe, and since this is about the 10th time you lose, you better make something really delicious for me"

L:"That's unfair, you already know I can't keep staring at those deep eyes for too long like you do"

W:"That's my talent hun, I can even spend a whole day staring at that pretty face of yours."

L:"Whatever...now let me go if you're not going to do it"

William took his hands away from her, laughing at the expression his girlfriend wore while trying to pretend that she was angry at him.

It was then while waiting for Lisa to join back, he saw the drawer of her working desk was not closed properly because of a piece of paper striking it. The paper had some sort of symbols written using a sign language which William couldn't understand.

W:"Liz,what is this? Are you learning alien subject except the college lessons"

He asked in a joking manner.

L:"Ahh those,actually I was going to ask you about this.I've been getting these since about a week I guess. At first I thought it was some mistake and then I remembered that Halloween is coming soon. So I think someone's trying to pull a prank on me...and I doubt that *someone* is you"

W:"It would have been great if I had such a smart brain to think of something creative like this, but sadly it's not me. Yet my hunch says it's not a mistake that you received this,do you remember how you start getting these?"

FLASHBACK(a week ago)

Lisa's POV

The low growl of Leo woke me from the dreamland I visit everynight. Leo is my pet dog and it's a shih tzu so it spends the nights inside my room. It isn't like him to growl in the middle of the night. I felt the sensation of being touched, a cold breeze tracing my bare skin. However, I live in this apartment alone, so there's no way to feel that.

Just then I saw the light flowing from the living room, the clock read the time as 3 o'clock and even William won't mess around this late. Trying to ignore the knots that were getting tight in my stomach, I stepped to the living room just to see the door opened. There stood a piece of paper on the floor, but nothing else. It has been the moonlight, brightening the floor all this time.

After picking the envelope, I closed the door and returned to my room. It had some sort of signs which I couldn't understand so I left it on my desk and went to sleep.

This has been continuing since that day...

3rd Person POV(present day)

At The Spadena House(palace in the world of Witch's)

Maid:My lady, the Halloween is almost in two days. May I know who you are planning to send to the Earth this year?

Queen: I'm thinking of sending Anesthesia...I guess it's almost the time now...

Maid: Are you certain lady? We can wait another year at least...
